When Hurricane Sandy dropped a 90' double trunk Oak on our house, we needed a lot of heavy equipment to get the tree off the house.  I called Tree company at 8:00am.  Sandy arrived to evaluate the job and gave us an estimate by 9:00.  By noon, there was a cherry picker, huge crane truck,  a truck with a giant chipper and work crew of four amazing guys at our house taking the tree away in sections.  They were fast, courteous and incredibly professional.  Less than 24 hours after the tree hit the house, it was gone, trunk and all.  The only traces left behind were the gaping hole in the roof and tire tracks on the lawn.   
They even made sure the giant tarp I bought (Kevlar, highly recommended) was secured over the wound.   I'd call these guys in a minute if we ever need them.  
Excellent work.
