My project was to have a room taken down to the studs, get new drywall and flooring. The initial meeting with the owner is what made me select them. The owner was very professional and the paperwork was very detailed. He provided his license and insurance papers and the estimate was very detailed. The project started on time and the crew left a clean work area at the end of everyday. The project was delayed due to illness but only by a day or two. Though I am pleased with the finished project it was very trying. The original job was horrible. The walls weren't sanded properly and there were big bumps and gashes after the walls were painted. The trim wasn't nailed properly and the nail holes and seams weren't caulked. The trim around the front door was not complete and there was cold air coming into the room. There were also nails protruding from the walls. All of this was after the owner called me to ask if I was satisfied with the job. The owner told me that there would be a site supervisor at all times but if that was the case I would hope those issues would have been corrected. I had to make him aware of all of the problems. He did have someone come in a fix them after I sent him many pictures of the problems. They also cut the cable when installing the subfloor and just stuck the cable through the hole like it was okay. The flooring installers made me aware of the problem. They also did not put the thermostat back on the wall. The owner finally came by to see if I was happy with the service and most things had been corrected. I say most things because after he left I found a gaping hole under one of the windows because cold air was blowing in. I had to put insulation in the hole, patch it and put trim under the window to cover the eyesore. As I stated earlier, I am now satisfied with the project but the experience was not good and I would not go through the frustration again.
