Did not have to wait long for an appointment. The serviceman arrived on time. Informed me of what the problem was and what needed to be done. Recommended, not forced, other services that would be beneficial for the longevity of my garage door motor and connecting parts. Very educational for me.

Amazing team. I interacted with about a half dozen individuals and every one of them was professional and courteous. They even setup the panels in their shop so I could stop by at my convenience and paint them prior to the install. When I first called they mentioned a 5% Angie's list discount. When they sent out an estimator we both forgot about the discount and I paid in full. Their team caught the overpayment after the fact and went out of their way to refund the balance. All work was performed as scheduled and exceeded expectations. Absolute pleasure to work with. I just wish they offered more services as I would love to use them more often.

Awesome. Nice, honest team. Presented me with what they felt was the most economical and attractive option. I choose a more expensive door that they worked with me in to customize. So worth the money and would highly recommend them to a friend looking for any garage door work.

After searching Angie's List for local reputable garage door companies, we decided to call FIMBEL Garage Doors to see what they could do for us.  The salesperson was on the phone with another customer, but called us back within 15 minutes.  He was very friendly and polite, conveyed no sense of pressure or "hard sell" and explained the options to us, from inexpensive to top-of-the-line crazy expensive.  He e-mailed us a brochure and we picked a couple options that we liked.
The next Wednesday, my wife and I stopped by their well appointed showroom to talk with another salesperson.  She acknowledged our choices, but guided us toward a slightly less expensive and higher quality garage door style and composition (who knew better and cheaper could co-exist?).  She said it was by far their most popular model.  And being a geek, I wanted the top MyQ "smart" connected, belt-driven, DC motored, nearly silent garage door openers: the Liftmaster Elite Series 8550.
Mr. Fimbel, the company owner, swung by the house the very next Monday to survey our install.  After spending 10 minutes with a tape measure, and another 10 talking about muscle cars, he asked if we had any questions.  I simply asked, "When can you start?"  He called the home office, asked if I'd be paying by check, then said he could fit me in on Wednesday, two days later.  Anyone who has dealt with contractors or home-based installations can affirm that this is AMAZING responsiveness.  I said yes, and yes, and by 1pm Wednesday, we had the highest tech, quietest and most beautiful garage doors installed and running.  The installer even mated my wife's car to the new garage door openers and confirmed everything was working perfectly.
I highly recommend FIMBEL Garage Doors to anyone in the area.

When I came home to find one of my garage door cables had snapped, I was upset. I called Fimbel based on a recommendation from a family member. They were extremely polite and helpful on the phone and were able to get someone out to the house later in the day. While they could have only replaced the obviously broken cable, they were proactive in pointing out to me that the springs and wheels for the same garage door were also in need of replacement, which I appreciated--better to fix things now, then wait for another disaster! I was very pleased with the helpful assessment, professionalism, and courtesy. I would definitely hire Fimbel again and would recommend to anyone else needing garage door repair or replacement.
