I greatly appreciated the customer service, personal touch and overall respect that I received while having some work done on my car at Boomer McLoud. As a woman, I have found that on occasion companies don’t take the time to explain or think that I
have an interest in the details when it comes to topics like electronics; it was quite refreshing to find the exact opposite of that at Boomers.
I contacted Boomers after receiving a horribly botched installation at GS Audiowurks/Gold Seal in Hudson. I had traded my 2010 Lexus GS for a 2012 Volkswagon cc 4Motion. GS Audiowurks who did the first attempt at a
remote start install, told me that there would be no issue with the installation, but after spending three days at their shop over three weeks time, all I got was a remote start that they told me did not have the technology or capability to be set up for keyless entry.
The very next week, while waiting to parking, I heard clicking and my door locks began to lock and unlock repeatedly, my gas cap popped open and kept clicking and my trunk flew open. All while my car was in gear!
This could have happened when I was driving down the road or highway! I knew I had a serious problem, so I returned immediately
to GS Audiowurks and promptly had them remove their equipment all together. As I was leaving there, I called Boomer McLoud and spoke to Jamie. Jamie listened while I fully explained my situation and then gave me a clear explanation of what had caused the issues I had. You he took the time to explain to me what he could do to help me and didn’t just recommend the most expensive equipment, but helped me to pick what was the “right” equipment for me. He took the time to explain the process for the type of installation I wanted and Boomers standards for ensuring it is done correctly.He put me at complete ease as he gave me all of the information that I needed to fully understand my choices, their services and excellent installation standards. On top of this, he worked it out to get me in the very next day for installation! AND, their service didn’t stop there…
Upon starting my install, they identified many issues in my car caused by the “hacked” workmanship at GS Audiowurks. My car was new; I had not even made my first payment and I had driven less than 1k miles. Boomer discovered and helped me
document many damages to my car immediately. Everything from a broken kick plate, missing screws and fasteners, exposed and potential dangerous wiring and general disregard for my vehicle (i.e., scratches and other cosmetic damage, rough,
inappropriate/direspectful care of my vehicle). Boomer then helped me get my car back to factory condition. They replaced the kick plate and all of the screwsand fasteners and replaced the potentially dangerous wiring. They restored my car back to the way it was before I ever considered going to GS Audioworks. Boomers followed that with a top-notch installation. The equipment is amazing and even VW signed off in my 90 day inspection, stating that all things were working perfectly. I wish I had come to Boomers FIRST;
I would have never gone anywhere else.
I was and am so pleased with my experience at Boomer McLoud. I bought and had installed a Viper remote start that also comes with a “working” keyless entry and 2-way keyfob, smart start wireless/internet start as well as a P40radar detector. While I spent a bit more than what I did at the GS Audiowurks, I definitely received so very much more in return. It was definitely worth every
extra dime, a clear picture of the service, care and quality that I received coming there. Thanks for everything and
for exceeding my expectations Boomers
