We looked at multiple stoves and a few different shops and All Basics was the best deal for the insert we needed. They also made me aware of multiple discounts the manufacturer was offering as well as a few other local coupons that ended up saving me over $450. Initial evaluation was quick and helped pick the right stove for my house. They answered every question I had about operation and the most efficient way to run it. Installation took a little time but that was expected. Overall, I'm thrilled with the look of the stove and the service I received.

They told me the chimney was dangerous with cracks in the tile liner as well as chipped and missing pieces. They told me it would cost $3,000 to $5,000 to fix and make it safe. They told me that it could not be fixed by installing a metal liner. The next thing I knew they were trying to sell me a pellet stove and installation for $2,000 to $2,500!
I had a contractor come two days later to re-point the outside of the chimney. He also checked the inside for me and assured me that apart from a minor repair that he would for no-charge, there is nothing unsafe about the chimney.
What All Basics did was try to sell me a pellet stove under the pretense of inspecting my chimney. And they refuse to refund my money.
