Suzanne Damon RE/MAX Omega

I do not know if this was an anomaly for this agent, but things went so badly with the sale of my home that I fired her before I began the process of purchasing my next home. My two major complaints are that at no time did I feel like this agent was working for me. I feel that she was working for the sale and getting it done and I was just along for the ride in her eyes. I say this because she very much took a "give the buyer whatever they want" approach to moving my property. Whenever I asked that something be negotiated she'd tell me that I was completely justified and then the next morning I'd get a message telling me that it would be in my best interest to just give in to expedite the process. So, either she is a terrible negotiator or she just didn't try. It is hard to know which. My second glaring issue was just a complete lack of communication. Suzanne did very little to keep me in the loop with what was going on or to clarify issues as they arose. The only time I would get any information was when I emailed or texted her assistant stating that I was upset with the lack of communication. Suzanne also had a tendency to forget major points from prior conversations that we had. We would discuss some things for the second or third time and Suzanne would act as if it were all brand new information. Whether or not I need to find suitable housing before I closed for example. Lastly, and this happened after I ended my relationship with Suzanne, she contacted a realtor I used for a prior sale in another state to ask them about the particulars of that sale because I told her that sale went very differently than this one and that I felt my realtor did a much better job as my advocate.

She is professional, responsive, knowledgeable, confident, and great realtor.  Well, comparatively just way above other experience I’ve had.  I would recommend her.  She was on commission on the sale of property that I purchased.  It is a standard real estate commission.
