Nice and very knowledgable guy. Gave great info during initial call. Hired him to do next day mold elimination in small attic space after ice dam leaks. He did a great job, was very efficient, and shared his wealth of knowledge and made great suggestions for improvements. I highly recommend him to anyone needing this service. His prices were reasonable and he was very thorough.

He came out to remove some mold from my house. He saved me time money on the testing which was fantastic. He came on a Saturday morning to inspect the problem areas and he came back the next day and finished the work that Monday, which was Memorial day. I was extremely satisfied with the mold removal. He did a great job treating my house and informed me of some work that I needed to look into. He gave us a warranty and I really trusted his work.

I could not say enough good things about New Tech Environmental out of Manchester, NH and Art Fontaine! We purchased a small cottage up near the lake in the Fall of last year, and with that purchase, inherited a host of issues. The most alarming was probably the mold in the much neglected crawlspace of the house. We had dealt with mold issues in a previous house, so were somewhat familiar with the remediation process, costs involved, etc. Once I contacted Art, he got right back to me and spent quite a bit of time on the phone listening to my concerns and description, and providing insight (already so different from the other companies we'd used or checked out)! Shortly thereafter, Art inspected our place - just before Christmas, I might add. He promptly returned a quote that was far beyond reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done, especially considering the previous quotes we'd received, and that he would be working hunched over in a dark, dirty, freezing, crawlspace that was littered with animal remains and mold! Upon inspection of the property, he noticed some additional mold issues that I was unaware of the extent of. He would go on to remediate those areas as well. It turned into a major project, and he did it during some of the coldest days of winter, in a cottage with no running water, and little to no heat. I have to say, I was extremely impressed with his level of dedication and knowledge. He was professional and genuinely concerned about doing right by the customer, while also not overcharging. In the end, Art not only cleaned up (ripping out as necessary) and treating the moldy areas with both mold killer and surface protectant, he laid down a vapor barrier in the crawlspace, and did much more work on the 2nd floor (due to poor insulation installation) that we had initially anticipated. On top of that, he would give me constant updates about things he saw around the house that needed tending to. His report included a detailed section with suggested recommendations based on what he saw - and those comments didn't even all pertain to mold! I found his suggestions to be almost as valuable as the work itself! On top of that, and quot;New Tech Environmental warrants and guarantees that all goods used by or for New Tech will be free from defects in material for a period of 99 years from the date of installation or until the surface degrades to the point that the surface is no longer intactand quot;. It is of course also noted that it is the obligation of the purchaser to keep the surfaces dry, and in good condition, etc. Still, Art takes his warranty seriously, and personally comes in to do the spraying to make sure that it is done properly -- as I'm sure he would not want to constantly be revisiting crawlspaces like ours more than he has to! All in all, I honestly couldn't recommend anyone in this field more than Art and New Tech Environmental. I would suggest you get quotes from some of the others, and then meet with Art - I think you will come to the same conclusion I did... That is, you won't be able to beat either the service, or the price - anywhere!

Having our buyers home inspection come back on our house positive for mold was extremely distressing. Estimates for treatment and removal can be outrageously expensive. Art Fontaine of New Tech Environmental was highly recommended to me by the local realtors and had reticently completed work on a house in my area. I called him for an estimate and he came by the very next day. He was thorough and informative as to the necessity of treatment needed for our situation and was able to give me a VERY reasonable price considering the scope of our situation. This is a company that is willing to work with you and isn't trying to scare you out of thousands of dollars! Also he was able to schedule the work within a day or two of our call.
