Cote Electric, LLC

Cote electric is certainly capable of installing a Generac, they minimally succeeded in that task for me, but don't fall for the commercial like it did.... They had no real understanding of the many functions or administration of the generator, service, add ons, etc. Follow up items they guaranteed, required several phone calls including unanswered promises, repairing the lawn which never occurred(they did send a set of individuals that were unqualified that caused more work in the end), and as a bonus, I witnessed the angry(previously seemed cool) owner yelling at worker that didnt help him back out as he went off my driveway, did a burnout on my front lawn and never acknowledged or addressed. Checkout serious installers or at least multiples, not someone trying to boost their retirement account cashing in these installs

Cote was excellent from beginning to end. When I called, the receptionist Linda was very responsive and accommodating. She told me that they were booked 2 days out, so if I wanted to call around to other electricians, I should feel free to do that and connect back with them if no one was able to get to me sooner. I tried a few other companies, but no one kept their word and called me back. So, I booked Cote - who said they would try to get to me sooner if their schedule freed up. On the day of service (today - the electrician just left my house) the problem was diagnosed quickly. I had some loose circuit breakers that needed replacing, AND some faulty wiring from the original builder that needed fixing. Within an hour, we were done and back in action. Very professional, reasonable pricing, and they kept their word - unlike quite a few other contractors I've dealt with. I'd definitely recommend this company, and will certainly use them again for any future electrical needs.

The electrician was professional and knowledgable about the work we requested. His quote was lower than others, he was able to schedule the job quickly, and we were satisfied with the results. The final price and time to complete the job matched the written quote he gave us. We would use this electrician again.

when I called the receptionist roseburg times and was able to get an electrician out to my condo within a few hours.

It went really well.  I'm sorry I don't remember the electricians name but he was very friendly and efficient.  He trouble shot the problem crawled around in my attic filled with fiberglass and solve the problem.  The price was very reasonable and I will definitely use them the next time I need service.

I will highly recommend this company! I called them at 8:30 this morning. Told them I was having an issue with a breaker tripping. Told they would call me back in a few minutes to schedule a service call. Called me at 8:40 and told me they could come out today! Told her I worked until 3:00 PM and they said the serviceman would call 15 minutes prior to arrival. Call at 3:00 and was at my doorstep by 3:15. Diagnosed my problem, confirmed the problem. Replaced the breaker and double checked the issue was resolved. Service charge plus $10 for the breaker. Serviceman was extremely professional and knowledgeable. It was a easy fix and he was out the door in 20 minutes. I couldn't be happier with this service call.

Fantastic!  I called on a Friday and they were there on Monday.  They arrived on time, did great work and were gone in no time at all.

They were very quick and straight to the point.  They guy was very pleasant.  It was very, very nice.

Electrical upgrade

Called last minute due to another electrician failing to show up to install a new dedicated line to the circuit box for our over range microwave. Ron was great and was able to help us out last minute so I didn't have to put the job off another week due to my work schedule. Their price was great compared to other companies I called, the tech Jon showed up about an hour after my phone call and was friendly and did a good job.

After calling two other companies that were unable to provide same day service, Cote Electric made the extra effort to help us out. Considering the problem involved our main living space, it was more than amazing to get such a quick response.  From the woman who answered my call to the electrician, everyone was friendly, efficient, responsive, and professional.  I will definitely call them first for any future work.

Excellent. The work was 1st class. 
Because new propane was being run, the system was required to meet all  current fire and electrical codes (installed over 12 years ago and distance from structure and external disconnect requirements have changed).
Cote showed up when they said they would, did the work (including nice pressure treated box for the gravel around the generator), cleaned up and regraded areas where propane and electric lines were run underground after required inspections.
They also let me know they are service provider for Generac in my area and offer maintenance contracts (which I signed up for).

the man doing the work was very nice. Took him about 5 minutes to install but had to charge a 2 hour minimum. looks good.

I checked Angie;s list and found Cote to be highly recommended and they offered a discount.  I called their office and was promptly given an appointment  about a week out.  I should point out that I has contacted another Angies list contractor (DST Electric) since they were very close to me.  I visited them and  was told the the job  was too difficult to  do an an old house.  I  thought I would get an second opinion.
At the appointed time the electrician arrived (Brian) and scoped out the job.  I thought there was a channel running from the basement location of the electrical breaker panel to the attic that could be used for running the new wiring.. However Brian informed me I was wrong.  The open was blocked at each floor level (per code) and he would have to cut the drywall in  the room above the electrical panel, in two places to run the new electrical cables from the electrical panel up to the attic and down the kitchen walls to place the new outlets.  I was ok with this if it had to be done.. After the electrical outlets were installed, I would have had to have the walls repaired and repainted.
Then Brian noted the house had been wired originally for electric heat and the old 12 gauge wiring  was still in place in the walls.  He was able to reroute those unused existing electrical cables to install the new outlets.  It all worked well without having to  cut open the walls to run new wire.  I am very pleased with Brian's work.  I think he did  a great job.  Brian spent three hours to  do the job and with my Angie's List coupon (5%) the bill came to  $257.
