I reached out to Blacktop SealKingz for quote. The initial estimate was for almost twice the actual sq/ft of driveway. When I pointed this out, they admitted it wasn't accurate. We scheduled the work for a Friday, but they later asked if they could move it up to Thursday at 8:00AM (this was only confirmed the day before). I agreed. On Thursday morning at 7:08AM, I received a message saying their ETA was 8:30-9AM-already running late. At 8:07 AM, I got another message that they had "forgotten" about another job and now expected to arrive between 10:00-11:00AM. By 10:23AM they said they were "just about finished" with that job. By 11:30AM, after hours of waiting, I asked for an update. I got no response for 10 minutes, so I cancelled the job, too many red flags with inaccurate quote and the inability to keep a schedule. At 11:55 AM, the company finally responded calling the customer a scumbag. Perhaps Nick should keep his word and understand the importance of customer time.

Shared with Nichollas the disaster I experienced with a 5 star hot topping vendor and didn't want a repeat. He was so understanding and not only completed the job 2 days later, but kept in constant communication the day it was completed while I was at work. My dad had owned his own paving sealing company prior to his passing and I told Nicholas, he would have made him proud. Excellence in customer service and work quality.
