American Locksmith

This happened at a bad time (don't they all?), but this was right after my father-in-law had passed and we were out helping the family make arrangements, sit with friends, etc. We came home at 9pm - it was still cold outside, though thank goodness at least in the 50s - went to open the door and the key just turned all the way around in the lock. I pulled up locksmiths on my cell and the first person we tried - who was supposed to be available 24/7 - only had an answering machine. I then called Josh Alvarez's (American Locksmith) number as the store was fairly close to our house. He answered on the second ring, said he was nearby and said he'd be there in 45 minutes. Did I mention it was cold? He actually got to hour house in less than a half hour and immediately got to work. While he was working, the other company called back and warned me about having "just anyone come over, because they could charge you upwards of $300". Josh could tell I was talking to another company and he said "don't worry, I won't charge you some crazy amount". We were not in the best of spirits, but Josh was funny and supportive and he not only fixed what was broken, but made sure the whole lock was working so we wouldn't have to go out and get a whole new lock just because of one small broken piece. He was fast, ridiculously reasonably priced for a house call at 9pm on a Sunday night, and even asked if he could help in any other way. I hope other's will use American Locksmith and specifically ask for Josh!
