HUGELY DISAPPOINTED!!! We inquired to Ron Costa about possibly building new Mailbox for tenants in an 12 unit bld in 10 No. Main St, Lisbon, NH...this would require 8 slots for the tenants. Never clearing cost or expense he went ahead and just built it over a weekend only to come to us and say "ok now you owe me $300." We weren't happy and my boyfriend blamed every bit of it on me. He was never actually told to build it...he just went ahead and did it? We were very upset at the shoddy craftsmanship and my boyfriend was upset at me for even mentioning it. The mailboxes were never measured to scale, a lock system (which is required by law) was never considered in the math, and not a moments thought was put into it for the mailman himself. He was more interested in being able to charge us than to produce a product well thought out with true craftsmanship...it was anything but! It was built withwood and to heavy to ask the mailman to deal with it never mind hang it on the wall. The craftsmanship and thought put into this project was less than acceptable and a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT to both of us. He does not have the true craftsman skill to build anything other than a bird house out of a box kit, nor does he have the business sense to actually make it clear that he is going to do the work and for what price...he acted more like a snake oil salesman during the entire process. He has done this to others in the area that were also very unhappy with his product and the way he conducts his business.
