We used Orion three times in 2015, and like them. Here's a summary.
In August, we had them drop a four-stem maple tree that was partly leaning over a neighbor's fence. We had them chip the brush and leave the trunks for firewood. The team finished the job quickly. Total $150.
In October, we had them grind 10 stumps. The guy finished in less than an hour. Total $150.
In December, we got permission from our neighbors to have two damaged trees near the property line removed (they were on the neighbor's property, but leaning our way). Orion needed the bucket truck for this, because the trees were near our power lines. The team finished in about an hour, chipping the brush and leaving the trunks as we requested. They even made sure the family of flying squirrels that was living in a woodpecker hole in one of the trees evacuated. We had no idea the squirrels were there, or the hole, for that matter. Total $250.
It can sometimes take a few days to get a response to a voice mail, but this won't deter us from working with Orion again.
Jon is very prompt, and works carefully, but really quickly. They have all the right equipment for the job and obviously have worked together for some time.
The whole crew was great and insisted on cleaning up areas I told them to leave....
