They were expensive because they are a dealership. The sales guy is a friend of ours so there is low pressure while looking for cars. I have 170000 miles and I go back if there is anything big happening.

They are good people and they are straightforward and honest. They do what they say they are going to do and they don't tack things on to the bill. The amount they quote you is usually right on the money; if it's not they talk to you before they go on. They have high integrity in their service department. The price is better than most. I'm going back this week.

I was hoping to get out of a vehicle that I had already repaired and spent a lot of money on. I was afraid another repair would come up unexpectedly, so I decided leasing a Civic would be perfect. They made the payment work for me and the car is exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be happier!

Gerrish charged my wife for work that should have been covered through a recall repair. When we questioned whether it should have been covered under the warranty they said "no, this part of the repair is paid by you" Upon calling Honda in Ohio we were told the money would be returned and it was...but not because Gerrish wanted to. Will not return business.

Elected to omit the "2" - rotate tires, as done seasonally for snow tire mount and removal. Rotate includes re-balancing, so redundant to seasonal work (which includes complete remounting and balancing). Note that TPMS sensors can create service issues, and I experienced this when mounting snow tires last Winter at another dealer. One unit broken and one damaged. Repair from this incident did involve two (2) trips to Gerrish, the 2nd of which was done at no charge - with parts for repair supplied to other service center by Gerrish for 3 failed repair attempts. Service at Gerrish is very professional. Wait time for this one was more than anticipated (approx one hour), but included a courtesy car wash. Charges for this work are defined in advance (but overlooked by myself) and can be significant. The Service Coordinator reviewed the work completed, and I am very satisfied that the work listed above was actually performed. For instance, the brake disk thickness was measured and reported, along with tolerance value for material remaining.
