FRANK WEBB'S BATH CTR

Not only were the bath fixtures about 2 weeks late, their prices are almost double what the exact same fixtures cost at the local chain hardware store. Throughout the 2 weeks that the pieces were not being shipped to the store, we had to keep calling the staff to get updates as to when we could expect the pieces. It would have been nice for them to keep us posted with updates and not have had to seek them out. When they realized that the original order was taking way too long, they did re-order the pieces and have the shipping expedited to the store, which was helpful, but shouldn't have had to happen. And I will say that every time we called, they did call back promptly and they were pleasant on the phone. They were sure to notify us with a few phone calls to both my spouse and I when the pieces finally did get to the store, which was nice, but that is standard-practice customer service and shouldn't have been the exception to the experience. When they did call, they never left a voice-mail message, so that when we called back, nobody knew who we were or what we were calling about. Overall, we were not impressed with their price, their speed, their reliability or their customer service (in terms of going out of their way to make sure we were satisfied). I suppose if you're a plumber/service person and you want to deal with a local, mom-and-pop kind of place that has a large, in-stock inventory, then sure, they'd be fine for you. But as a customer, they are not the place to get a piece of equipment unless you are willing to pay top dollar and are willing to wait for what you need.
