This experience was a disaster. It took the worker two weeks to build the frame of just one closet and the work was so shoddy, we finally had to stop it. At our request, Mr. Fucci came to the house so we could show him the poor quality of the work. When, using a square, we showed him that the walls of the closet were clearly not at 90 degrees to the room walls, he claimed not to see any problem! Because he could see "no problems", we knew we weren't going to get any satisfaction. We filed complaints with the Vermont Consumer affairs and Better Business Bureau. We also considered bringing a law suit against Mr. Fucci. In preparation, my wife did some research at the Rutland County Court House (Mr. Fucci's business was based in Rutland, VT at the time) and found he had been taken to court numerous times for similar problems. Under advice from counsel, we elected not to pursue a lawsuit. The amount of money involved, inconvenience and Mr. Fucci's wily ways would have made going through the process a continuation of a bad dream. Instead we found another contractor (and very honest) who built the closets correctly and within one week. I recommend anyone considering doing business with Mr. Fucci to not only STAY AWAY from him, but with wallet firmly in hand, run as fast as you can. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR MONEY!
Description of Work: We hired this company to build closets in two bedrooms.

This project was an absolute disaster. Not only did the provider not complete the job, the work that was done (by an employee of the provider) took two weeks, an excessive amount of time, and was very shoddy. Example: the closet wall frames were not 90 degrees to the perpendicular room walls. After complaining to Mr. Fucci, he came by the house. Using a square, I showed him the problem with the walls. He claimed that was how they were supposed to be! Needless to say we didn't get our down payment back. Later my wife learned that Mr. Fucci had a long history of being sued for breech of contract and multiple other complaints from the Rutland Co. Courthouse in Rutland, VT. A check with the State of Vermont showed he was selling real estate with an expired license. Stay away from this person, any dealings with him will only lead to regrets.
Description of Work: At the time this provider (I'm being kind) had a small construction operation in addition to his real estate agency. We hired this company to build closets in two bedrooms. The closets were pretty standard and did not require any elaborate skill on the part of the provider.
