The main problem was getting the electrician on-site. They constantly pulled him to do other work and mostly only came after I made several phone calls and emails to complain. When the job started I was told that the electrician was finishing other work and may not be there full-time. That became their excuse from that point on. It was obvious that they were taking on new work and only scheduling the electrician after I expressed frustration at the lack of time spent on our job. Because of the delays our other reno work was continually postponed since we did not want to finish patching walls and ceilings while they were still pulling wires and making holes. The breaking point came when they could not get the electrician back on-site after more than a week absence. This is the first time I ever had to fire a contractor and it was a difficult decision made after many attempts to get them to commit to finishing the work. It took us several weeks to get another electrician hired to finish the job. Unlike Corey, he was prompt and finished the work in record time. My warning to anyone hiring Corey Electric is to get a finish date in writing otherwise you will risk becoming a filler that they can charge when not working other jobs.
