Triple T Concrete

Our concrete main entrance walkway and front side walk were heavily damaged by the frequent salting during last winter (2015). There were large gaps and the concrete was literally crumbling and leaving places where tripping or an ankle turn could easily happen. We called a half dozen concrete companies last spring (2015) and received only one call back with an estimate of over $4000.00, and the remark that it was such a small job they might not be able to get to it for a while. We disregarded that bid. While walking in my neighborhood one morning, I saw the truck for Triple A Concrete in a driveway and observed two gentlemen replacing brick work and blue stone pavers/steps on a neighbors' front walk and entrance. I asked if they did concrete work also and after a brief discussion, they agreed to come by our house after that job and check out our situation. The owner of the company Ted Imonti does all of the work himself with his business partner Darren and another gentleman whose name I do not recall. Ted and Darren came over, as promised, that afternoon and gave us an estimate. To their credit, the job was not as big as we had thought because we assumed that all of the concrete in a large area would need to be replaced (both the good and broken sections), but they assured us that they could cut out the broken parts and match the good sections. We explained our desire to get this work done ASAP and they said they could start the next day with the demolition and pour the new sidewalk the following day. Later that day, Ted texted me to let me know that the concrete had been ordered and to ascertain whether or not we had both outdoor water faucets and electrical outlets, which we did. True to their word, Ted and Darren were here the following morning and demolished the broken sidewalk, hauled away the debris and set the forms for the new concrete. Initially, the weather for the concrete day was supposed to be warm-ish and dry, but on Monday there was a change to the forecast that included the possibility of afternoon showers. We were concerned that this change would require a delay. Ted and his two man crew arrived at 6:30 AM to get started and to get the work that had to be done finished before the rain. They staked and cordoned off the area once finished and the result was beautiful!!
