Royal Green Tree Service

I received a call back the same day as my initial call. The owner came within a day or two to give a quote. The quote was about $100 higher than other quotes, but I was very comfortable with the owner. They arrived on the agreed day, the owner was there the entire time. The work was completed within the expected amount of time. All the work was done professionally and with great care for the yard and house. Clean up was very good. A great experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Royal Green to anyone needing tree work done. I will use Royal Green again in the future. I really prefer vendors where the quote comes from someone who will actually be on the job.

They arrived on time and started working immediately and didn't stop until the job was completed. The foreman explained everything that they were going to do prior to the work being done. They did a great job of cleaning up after the work was completed.

We are very pleased with the results. Bruce, the owner, is a really nice guy. He was very flexible about scheduling our estimate. When he came to check out the tree, he also pointed out a couple of other trees that he'd cut back because they would be more exposed and could cause problems. The work site was complicated by the fact that there were obstacles that the crew had to work around, but Bruce and his team handled it. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend Royal Green Tree Service.

Excellent service start to finish

I called Royal Tree on a Sunday and left a message with their answering service. To my surprise, I received a call back from them a couple of hours later and was able to arrange to have them come out and give me an estimate. I've never heard of any company coming out so quickly, especially on a Sunday!!

The estimate I received was less than I thought for the amount of work required. They came back I few days later and removed the fallen tree and the branches that I had pointed out. Royal Tree did a great job and cleaned up very nicely after the work was done.

I'd definitely would hire them again!!

Both times, Bruce responded quickly with quotes that were 15-25% lower than the other tree services I consulted. He was able to schedule the work within a few days. He and his crew arrived on time, with shiny new trucks, crane and chipper (all painted with their name--no subcontractors). Particularly in the removal job, they worked so neatly that it was hard to tell any work had been done. The (large) stump was cut so low and smooth, we decided to keep it as a stepping stone, rather than having it ground down. Zero damage to the lawn or the shrubs that were very close to the trunk.

They showed up on time, with an impressive array of equipment. They had to crane the ash trees over the house, and a glass roofed portion of our dining room. They were careful not to do any damage to the house, and took extra care protecting the front lawn from the crane tracks. We added the elm tree to their work. The original quote was $1750, then we added the elm tree which added another $800 to the cost. They told us that it would cost $1200 for the elm if they had to come back and do it alone. We were very satisfied with their work and clean up.

Very well. Came when supposed to, got work done in a timely fashion. They left our property clean. Only reservation is that they did cut up the large dead ash tree into sections, but they were still huge pieces. I didn't know I would be left with large difficult to move sections that now need to be further cut.

They came exactly when they said they would and did all the work very well. Courteous workers.

The estimate was prompt and somewhat lower than the other estimate I got for this job. The job was scheduled about 2 weeks out. After rescheduling for a few days later because of rain on the scheduled day, the crew of 3 arrived on time. They were courteous, professional, and adept at their jobs. They cleaned up neatly and were gone in 4 hours. (I wish good slate roofers were as easy to come by.) I highly recommend Royal Green.
