She indicated that she was an hour away and would clean for me if I was willing to pay the travel fee. I agreed as we are rural. We set an appointment and I also asked her to call me so that I could go over her regular fees, which she refused to give me in several e-mails. She did not call or provide a phone number. Sometimes people who do this are not business but getting addresses so they can rob you so I am concerned. She did not call, show up, message me or contact in any way after I waited all day wondering if she was lost or got into an accident. I still have heard nothing. Needless to say we are concerned. I have a large home, a business to run as well as a grandchild who is an infant. I have two dogs and need a reliable housekeeper. At first glance she appeared to be reliable, but this person should be thoroughly checked and referenced should anyone choose to hire her and given the first visit never even happened, I would recommend she not be used at all. She does not provide a phone, address or other information as most services do either. Had I not been desperate to find another housekeeper, as mine has left the area, I would have insisted right away that she provide insurance information but we never got that far. I had intended to be here for first visit as I am with all new people. This is not someone who is trustworthy right out of the starting gate. Should I hear something from her with a great explanation for any of this, I would remove this but there has been time and I have heard nothing.
