This electrician responded within a day or two (next working day) to a non-emergency call. Two other area electricians (angieslist electricians) either did not respond to multiple calls or were too busy to take the job on for thirty days.
Tom Harvey arrived with an assistent when he said he would--almost to the minute--and did a quick, but careful and professional, job in such a way that the final connection could be made by the tank installer. He was congenial and briefed me completely on the proper procedure when the tank arrived. We would recommend him highly. The new tank arrived this morning and we now have hot water.

Tom Harvey arrived exactly when he said he would, diagnosed the problem which turned out having to do with the power company's lines, called the power company and refused to "let go" until he had a line crew scheduled to appear within a half hour, "supervised" the power company crew, tested several circuits, helped me get my well pump back on line, cleaned up and bid me adieu all within about 2 hours.

They were delightful. Finding an electrician that will do small jobs is a challenge. I would recommend him to anyone. He charges by the hour. The price is reasonable. He will ask about the type of work ahead of time so he has all the material with him which is great.

Mr. Harvey calls in advance and determines what supplies are needed, including the colors for existing outlets in the house.He is punctual, neat, clean and pollite. His pricing is by the hour plus supplies and he makes the maximum of his time.
Not only did he install a new outlet and breaker in our crawl space, he checked all of the existing wiring and resecured it under the first floor. He goes above and beyond without adding to the cost.

Tom Harvey is very punctual and comes prepared with all the supplies needed to complete the job. He explains what he is doing, why and how things like CO detectors work and provides estimates of the realistic time before failure of the batteries.

We would recommend him for any electrical job. He not only delivers excellent work, he delivers peace of mind.
