The Wentworth

We went up to celebrate Valentine's Day and got a deal that included a room in the main inn and a 4 course dinner and a full country breakfast for a reasonable price.  The room was very quaint with a separate shower from the claw footed tub!  It was very quite and enjoyable.  However our favorite part of the stay was the dining experience!  One of the coolest things about the dining was the menus; when you open them the light up, so cool!!!  I just can not express how much we love this place and the staff and service.  It is worth the trip up there and are planning on taking our friends up when they come to visit us in June!
This dining experience has inspired me to come up with a new word; Swoonable meaning food so good you would swoon if you were not sitting down!  We enjoyed every bite, the service and atmosphere!  It is our new number 1 dining destination!  Dennis the chef came out to our table after our meal which was an amazing time to chat with him and be able to complement him on the awesome meal!  We also were very impressed with waitstaff, Josh is a delight and Ian was a magnificent waiter!  Both before dinner and after we had drinks in the bar and Tony was the bartender who was superb! When we were in the bar after dinner we also had the opportunity to share our experience with the owner Fritz, who was very gracious! 
I wrote this review above for the survey that was sent to us by The Wentworth and got a wonderful response from the owner's wife who is the manager of the inn.  She was pleased that we had such a wonderful time and shared my review with the staff, who were all pleased as well! 
 
We are going back up to stay in for our birthday celebration in March with a Deluxe Parlor Suite with Private Outdoor Hot Tub, King bed, gas fireplace, mini fridge, coffee maker, i pod docking station, three flat screen Tvs, steam shower and private out door hot tub on the balcony. Fully air conditioned.
