He was excellent. He did the external in November and the internal in January. Everyone else quoted a lot higher. He was awesome. Pricing was A+. The quality, service, responsiveness, all excellent.

I would highly, highly recommend Steve King Painting service.  I have been in my house over 40 years with many contractors coming and going for various problems and upgrades to my house and I can honestly say that I found Stepehn King Painting to be one of the best.  He was always on time and his quality of work was excellent and it was obvious that he had many years of experience in the painting business.  I have been on Angies List for a coiuple of years and have used several services (some quality of work were marginal)  from her recommend list but I can honestly say that Steven King painting is one of the best.

Steve is a fantastic painter!  His many years of painting experience clearly show in his finished product.  Steve is very personable and a great communicator, whether by email, phone or in person.  He took the time to explain things to us and he answered any questions we had about his work.  He is a consummate professional and is very honest and fair regarding the work that needs to be accomplished.   He also cleaned up when he was finished painting.    This was a very positive experience and I will recommend Steve to friends and family in need of a painter.

We are extremely happy with Mr. King's work.  He reached out to us quickly after we signed up through Angie's list for the work, met with us right away, and soon scheduled the work.  There was extensive communication throughout the process.  We have animals, and Mr King was great with them -- being sure they stayed where they were supposed to be in the house, and even taking the dog out for a walk when we were unable to be home mid day (after asking if that was ok).
The work itself is very professional and meticulous, with the trim carefully done.  We asked for oil based paint for the trim and it looks great.  When he was through, he asked if there was any concerns or anything missed.  There was a hook in the wall that we forgot to let him know we wanted removed and the hole repaired -- and he came and took care of that.
This was a very positive experience. We recommend his work highly and we will not hesitate to reach out to Mr. King if we need painting work done in the future.

Wallpaper had to be removed. Walls had to be sanded and skim coated . He moved all furniture , draped the entire room and put everything back in place upon completion. Finished product was excellent and lastly, an honest decent man to do business with. I will probably have him do more jobs in the future for me.

Steve was the best! If I could give him a triple A+ rating above, I would have! He had the difficult job of covering safety cone orange paint and was able to get it done with just two coats! Steve responded promptly to my initial inquiry, we were to able set a date that worked for both of us without any problems. He was very professional. He arrived on time, went straight to work, and was done before I got home. If it weren't for the change in color, I would never have known that anyone was in the room. If I ever have to have another room(s) painted, I most definitely will contact Steve!! We couldn't be happier with the results!

Steve King Painting performed a beautiful job painting my office. I chose a dark color (Dark Cobalt Blue) to paint over the old Antique White that was original to the room. Steve contacted me with hours of purchasing the deal from Angie's list. Although he was unable to schedule the job immediately, he kept in contact with me and fit me into his schedule at the earliest possible time. Steve arrived promptly at my home with all the supplies that he needed. I provided the paint. He repaired holes in the wall before painting and laid drop cloths on the floor to prevent getting paint on the hardwood floors. The paint job is beautiful and really makes the wood trim stand out. The cut in work is amazing. I would use Steve King Painting for any other jobs that I need done and I have already recommended him to a coworker who is planning on painting the interior of his home.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Steve King's staff in our home! They were professional, friendly, cheerful, and extremely efficient! We had several rooms that were in need of updates. Every surface was prepped, with holes filled and resurfaced, and new colors were applied flawlessly to the walls. If possible, our home looked even better than when it was first built fifteen years ago!!!

We will never use another company for our painting projects!!!

Steve King is a reliable, trustworthy painter.  He has always done a superior painting job for me.  He is a perfectionist and the quality of his work great.

Steve was just incredible from beginning to end. He responded to my call right away and came in with a very fair price. The work
was very extensive and he and his crew were here for many days. They worked tirelessly, the craftmanship was meticulous, and we hardly knew they were here. Instead of spreading out all over the place, they concentrated on a particular area or room, so that our lives were not disrupted. At the end of each day, the area was spotlessly cleaned up. I could not believe the amount of detail and precision that each on his crew painted with, all were very high end. The quality of paint speaks for itself. Steve did this job almost eight years ago, and the paint looks as fresh as the day it was done. (except for where my kids and house guests scuffed the walls!). Steve is able to make recommendations on color and paint types better than any paint/remodeling specialty store. Even though I know quite a bit about paint and painting, I really felt I could trust his expertise.
We are now doing an addition and remodeling of our dining room. I of course called Steve and again he returned my call right away, came to look at the scope of work, and again came in with a very fair price. I would have no one else paint my home except for Steve King. I'm sure when the work is done, I'll be able to give him another glowing review!
