Lee completed my pool maintenance 4 years ago. So, this is a testimony to how his project has held up. Fantastic. is the word. Lee was responsive, very communicative and honest. The surface has held up very well. I secured 3 quotes. One was from a larger firm and they were arrogant and insisted on expensive additional services claiming them to be code. I called them on it by actually getting the building codes on pools. The other firm was fair but I liked that Lee was involved himself in the project. The only issue was the side ladder. To do that they had to chip out the steps. They used a form to pour the new steps. After the pool was full I noticed the steps had little air bubble holes. So, make sure you inspect steps right when the mold is removed when a plaster coating might be a solution. Too late when the pool is full. But that is the only issue. He stripped and replaced the tiles which used to be falling off. I have had no problems with the new tiles. I might mention that Lee uses a higher quality and more attractive plaster. Other firms charged extra for that.

Lee and his team did a fantastic job! He was very responsive to our request for consultation and gave us an estimate on the spot. We had no idea how to get this repair done and really appreciated his insight as to the best way to proceed. His honest approach saved us a lot of money when he suggested we could repair our tiles rather than replace them. We received a few other estimates and his was the most reasonable - and the job matched his estimate exactly, with no hidden costs or fees. They showed up when they said they would, did what they promised, and left our yard clean. They even pressure-washed the pool deck, which just added to the great final product. The entirely project was a stress-free experience. Lee knows his stuff! We recommend them highly.

All of the above went excellent with my pool looking better than ever. He has a good feel for what needs to be done and is honest in his suggestions. He and his staff are quite professional in their knowledge and work performance. The job was done on a timely basis, which was important to us because of the time of the year. Lee is very knowledgeable and we're very happy with the job done. He was a pleasure to do business with.

I am so happy that I found this company.  I got other estimates to plaster and repair problems I had with the pool.  Others kept adding on $ for every little issue.  I found Mr. Makara completely knowledgeable about every aspect of pool work.  I felt complete confidence in all he had to say and that I could trust him.  His price was  the most reasonable and he did more than other companies would do. 

He is on the job himself.  He had a great crew who got the job done in a few days.  They were good at their job and polite and respectful.      IT LOOKS GREAT AND NO MORE LEAKS!  By the way, I chose a finish called Pearl Brite Blue which is so pretty and sparkly.  If not for this company I might not have been able to do the pool at all.  Again, the price was fair and it looks like a new pool!

Lee was very prompt in responding to my request. He came by a few days after calling to size up and provide a quote. His quote was very competitive and I'm glad I went with him.
Gunite Supply came in and drained the pool, and then removed and replaced all of the tile around my pool. Alot of the tile had come off due to water expansion.Since the pool was drained, they also fixed some of the staining in the pool. They then topped off the water and winterized the pool.
Overall, It looks great and has a 5 year warranty.

Lee and his team were great. They started the project last fall replacing the coping and the tile after which they winterized the pool and installed the cover. Lee told me that he would contact me in the spring when things warmed up. Sure enough in mid April they returned to prep the pool for plastering. The re-plastering job was completed a few days later. I could not be happier with the end result. Lee was very easy to work with and kept to his quoted price.

It seemed like they have done a fairly good job. Originally, the job was supposed to be done around Memorial Day but we had four weeks of rain here in New England so they could not do the job until after that. But everything was finished and it looks great right now. We have checked about five companies and they had the best price. The quality of their work seems to be very good.

Lee and his team were extremely professional, prompt and completed excellent work. I purchased a foreclosure property with a gunite pool that haden't been tended to in at least 5 years (if not more). A lot of local pool companies either did not perform gunite services, or wouldn't take the time (or have the patience) to educate a first time pool owner that wanted to renovate the pool. Lee was extremely patient, brought plaster samples with him during the estimate, and provided a detailed summary of the job, how long it would take, and a written (and very fair) estimate. Lee's team cleaned out all the leaves (and whatever else) was settled in the pool from the past 5 years, acided washed, replastered, retiled, power washed my deck, provided and plumbed in a new pump and filter, and provided chemicals (and assistance on pool set up, chemical application, etc). I have 2 large dogs and Lee couldn't have been more accomodating with the fact that someone in my family needed to be home at all times while he was completing this work. Not only was his team professional and provided excellent quality work; they completed ahead of schedule and only 2 weeks after the project was started, I'm swimming in my amazing and beautiful "new" pool! I would highly recommend Lee and his team for anyone looking for excellent service with very fair pricing, and will absolutely use him again in the future!
