Hardware & Home Improvement Stores
I went to Friend Lumber to get a custom sized door. The door I needed had to be cut both in height and width. It came back without the width being cut. I contacted the store and cc'd the owner of the store. They were very responsive and the owner took it personally upon himself to get the door cut right. He followed up throughout the whole process and made sure to keep me in the loop. I think that shows a lot about a business. It not not only how they handle the day to day, but it is the extent they went to get my door correct. I found the staff very knowledgeable and it is a refreshing change of pace from the chain hardware store. I would go there again in a heartbeat.
