I'll continue using them in the future. Their diagnostics are very accurate and they make the animals feel comfortable.

They did everything. We had our dogs in other kennels over the years like when we went away or some places we go to visit, they always come out a nervous wreck. You can tell they weren't treated right. They come out of Steve's place and they're happier. Everything has gone right, that's what you care about hen you put your dog away. He was very reasonable. His place is so much more spacious. People just try to make a buck from these places and they don't care. You got a dog and you want to make sure he's well taken care of. We had a black Labrador, we dropped him off for the weekend and we picked him up on a Sunday. The dog was shaking so crazy and we're talking to him. My wife says, I don't think this is Nicky, they gave us the wrong dog. These people are great. We go out of our way. We still drive 15 minutes to make sure we get him to a good spot.

I would give recommendation for them. We've been using them for probably close to 28 years. They have an indoor and outdoor kennel. It's all air conditioned. They have an outdoor park for where the fogs are allowed during the day. They run them out separately. They put two dogs at the same time. They go out as a group. Steve, the owner, is a military service. He was a dog trainer for the military, that was his number one job. He knows dogs. The dogs all love him. You know immediately if the dog wasn't happy, the dog would howl when you go to the kennel. Our dog would give us the paws. They're not suffering at all. They're always happy to see him and he's just a terrific guy. He's somebody we trust.

I brought my cat for the first time to Countryside Animal Hospital. He had been having digestive problems. My cat does not like going to any vets so I only bring him when it's really necessary.
The things that I liked about Countryside Animal Hospital:

  • They listened well to my concerns before examining the cat.
  • They were professional and caring.
  • When my cat began to growl during the examination I told them that I could calm the cat down and move him into the position that they needed. They agreed and it worked out well.

The thing that I was not thrilled about:
After the examination they needed to draw blood. To do this, they brought the cat into the back room while I waited in the examination room. I waited for about 10 minutes while I heard my cat scream and hiss almost the entire time. Since my cat has screamed at other vets, this didn't surprise me. However, being in a separate room and not seeing what was happening sent shivers down my spine. I had never been to a vet where they draw blood in a separate room from the owner.
When the blood tests came back the vet explained everything in detail over the phone and answered questions. She prescribed a different diet for the cat (prescription food ). He is to try it for a month. So far he's been eating it for a week.
Overall, I liked the vet, but didn't like the experience of him being taken into a separate room.
I am not sure if the price I paid for the blood test was high, low, or average.

They are wonderful. When I first got Lilly 2 years ago, I had her declawed. They do laser surgery. It is incredible. There is no bleeding and there is no stitches. You can pick them up the next day and take them home and they don't even notice. I put a little pain patch on her and she was great.
The vets there love animals. You can tell when you walk in that they really love the animals.
