Rob and Tim were professional and courteous and provided a written estimate which was on target with the job and other bids. No surprises prior, during or after the move or with settling the bill. Highly recommended.

It was the weekend before Labor Day weekend which I know is one of the busiest for movers but Rob managed to acomodate me on a kind of short notice.  The crew that handled my move were really nice guys who where very helpful and professional too. My belongings made it safely to Milford and the whole process went very smoothly.  They had mechanical trouble with one of their trucks and Rob called me the night before to tell me they would be an hour later than planned because they needed to pick up the truck from the garage in the morning.  He wanted me to know that they would be late and reassure me that they were going to be there to do my move. I really appreciated that. Moving is stressful enough without having to wonder if your mover is going to show up. Rob took the time to call me which was a very respectful thing to do. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a mover.

It went very well, they had to disassemble the furniture to move it down the stairwells. Once in the garage they reassembled the furniture. I was quoted a price of $150-200, because they couldn't make the first scheduled appointment they took $50 off the bill which resulted in the $125.00 costs. I considered it a bargain for what they did. They were friendly and highly professional. At times it's hard to find movers willing to take on such a small job but they were willing and it went very well.

I arranged the details on the phone with Rob and he emailed me with details and estimate. Rob, Tim and Jeff turned up promptly and were cheerful, helpful and very efficient in what they'd did. They were careful to move the items as I requested, and went over and above my expectations. Everything arrived safely and without any damage.

I would hire them again any time, and I highly recommend them.

Rob and his crew were promptly on time, all their equipment was in good working order, they crunched away at the move and got it done fast, fast, fast fast.  Things were wrapped when necessary, thing were not scratched, they even took furniture apart for me, as well as packing up some boxes of stuff.
Having used them for service, knowing what I know now, they will certainly be my preferred provider of moving services going forward.

They were very good and accommodating.  It ended up snowing and couldn't move when it was originally scheduled. The loaded the truck on the original day but when they unloaded a couple of days later they had less people so it took longer, but it was okay.

Everything Rob and his team did was outstanding.  They were on-time, efficient, polite, helpful, and came in under budget.   Nothing lost, nothing broken.  Highly recommended.

I was extremely pleased with the work performed by Kenny.  He was very thorough and professional. I've never had a garage before and so I had some questions and he took the time to explain everything to me.  Very very happy with the service and I would definitely recommend them.

Rob and his team were fantastic.  PODS delivery was a scheduling nightmare and Rob accommodated last minute changes during a very busy time where he had no further availability.  Extremely professional, charged fairly, very careful with everything and just overall great people to deal with.  Very grateful to them for their help through a very stressful move.

We contacted Rob because of all the great reviews to move into our new home. He visited our old home viewed everything we had and took notes. He stated we would receive the proposal the following day, which we did. We contacted three movers, two showed up and one never even returned our inquiry. Rob had the lower price, by a wide margin, but we were very confident with him to move everything we own. The move was a two day two truck event and was flawless. He showed up on day one when he said, with a total crew of 4. They all did a tremendous job! Day two, again, was flawless. Rob and his crew were professional and there was nothing damaged over the two move. At the end, the price was what he quoted. If you need a mover, don't waste time looking at all the other reviews...hire Corthell!

I chose this business based on the reviews on Angie's list. I was extremely happy with all. Rob was running a bit late and called to let me know. Rob and his team were wonderful. They came in and like all moves I did not have everything perfectly ready but they worked around  it. They worked diligently all day with really no breaks except for lunch. They were careful and considerate of my possessions and my home. They filled the truck to the brim. When we went to my storage facility Rob advised me that the unit I rented was to small told me exactly what was needed and he was correct and filled the unit. His price was by far the best but that is not the only reason I went with him. I got estimated from 4 movers and most were 4-5 thousand. Rob was fair and though I did not offer more he could well up his charges for the work they do.
I would recommend him to anyone and he would be the call I made if I had to make another move (hopefully not in this lifetime).

I received three estimates, Rob's was the only company that actually wanted to come and see what was to be moved prior to quoting. There were no hidden charges such as "supplies as needed" = MANY rolls of tape at a ridiculous price....
Rob's crew showed up right on time and got the job completed as per the estimate - 4.5 hours. The crew was very professional and did exactly as I asked them.
There was one rather heavy item that the crew originally placed in the garage until Rob himself was available. He cam back a few days later with some of the same crew and together they moved the item into the location I requested.

I called Corthell Transport to assist in my move across town to my new rental.  Upon initial contact and thorughout, Rob was courteous and professional.  After Rob viewed the items that I wanted moved and provided an estimate, I gladly booked my move with Corthell Transport.  Rob arrived on time with two other movers.  I found them all to be industrious, polite, respectful and generally a pleasure to have helping me through this difficult process.  They finished my move under the time and budget estimates.  I will gladly recommend Corthell Transport to anyone who wants to hire a reliable transport company.  They are, hands down, my first choice for all my future transport needs.

It was a fairly small move but they treated me and my items as though they were priceless.  Cannot say enough about them. They were great.  Efficient, personable and careful.  Would use them again.

This is a very professional crew. They work efficiently as a team and each of the guys is pleasant and was considerate of our property. Moving in the winter is not a pleasant experience, but the crew was very careful of the hardwood floors in our former home and covered the entry floor with their own mats. Each team member introduced themselves to us and we had Josh, Jeff, Mike and Rob (the owner) on our crew. They were conscientious about wiping their boots on each trip back into the house. This was important to us because the house is not yet on the market and we want to keep it looking as fresh as possible. They were equally considerate of the hardwood floors at our new home. They also moved a desk that we are donating from a second floor bedroom to the first floor. This was a great help to us because we had floor refinishers coming the next day to sand and refinish the hardwoods on the second floor and the desk would have been in their way. The teamwork of Corthell Transport meant that our move went very smoothly and quickly. No one was ever not working on packing the truck or disassembling furniture. We never saw a team member hanging back - they all worked very hard. We tried to make sure each box/item was labeled with its contents and destination, but when the instructions weren't clear, the crew asked where an item was to be placed. Each item that the crew disassembled was reassembled at the new location. Nothing was broken and nothing was missing. All in all Rob and his crew took the sting out of a winter move. We would gladly recommend Corthell Transport to anyone planning a move. As a bonus, Rob connected us with an interior design firm (Perfectly Placed For You, LLC) who will stage our home for sale so we didn't have to leave any of our furniture behind for staging and won't have to pay for a second move.

Perfect....  The packed up the entire contents of our house, took meticulous care of every last detail -- down to taking the tiny screws out of a small tea-table we had in the living room.  We had lots and lots of fine china and crystal -- everything survived without a scratch.  Rob and his team are so great to work with and so accommodating, they deserve higher than an A rating!  they are the best!
