TAKE your business someplace else! Unscrupulous sales tactics. In May, 2001 I was shopping quality price for patio and pool furnishings. I did what I could on the computer looked locally back then too. I went to BEMISTERS in Salem NH, although have other stores. They are a family. One of the sales tactics that influenced my purchase of a TC complete patio set,with a large table base, covers and 6 chairs, was that if the slings broke during its lifetime they would be replaced one time free of charge. That was a real warranty to me, and I bought this set. I'm an avid consumer and there is no possibility they were talking about a different set. Fast-forward May, 2015I called Bemisters to find out how to obtain my replacement chair slings. They claimed to know nothing about it, never offered it and I must've been mistaken. When I persisted, certain of memory and the way I shop, they told me that I must have been looking at a Tropitone that offered such warranty. I knew warranty was specific to the set I bought. he asked me if I had any 'certificates' about the warranty, and I did not. I had saved all other paper all this time for this warranty. They gave me the tel no TC to call, claiming maybe it was from the manufacturer. I emailed and called the manufacturer. At first I thought each was pointing the finger at the other. Then I looked at all the reviews of Bemisters and concluded this is another example of a bogus sales practice. TC spoke to them after my complaint, and they claimed I hung up on them. I hate that Bemisters was allowed to sell or distribute for reputable companies, counting on or hoping that the customer won't have records and receipts. I had everything but their warranty in writing. LESSON: IF you do business with them get it ALL in writing. Better yet, please support me and other consumers and go someplace else. The MFG was wonderful in addressing the issue. find TC and buy it from ANY other vendor. My TC set lasted a good 12+ years before the slings started to tear.
