Ron and his crew were flat-out GREAT. The end result is what's most important, and the floors are beautiful. But they measured correctly, kept us informed when flooring was delivered late to their supplier, worked to meet our schedule, installed quickly, stayed late and brought in extra help at the end of the day to finish early. When kitchen cabinets were installed, there was a small (2-3") gap left exposed; Ron had one of his guys there the next morning to fit a piece in. Perfect! The floors are the best part of a full first floor remodel. We couldn't be happier, and are planning to use them again in the near future.

I would hire this company again in a heart beat! They are very skilled at what they do and very meticulous. End result was phenomenal! Arrived everyday on time and put in a full 8 hour day. At the end of each day, cleaned up so I wasn't walking into a mess. Very trustworthy to have in your home (and that's important these days)!

During the final walk-through of a new home I was purchasing, I was heartbroken to find that what I had been told were "new" wood floors were, in fact, badly damaged by pet stains that had been previously hidden beneath area rugs. To rescue the floors, I knew I had to find someone skilled in repair/refinishing--and who would be honest. I'm so glad I found Olde Tyme Craftsmen! The owner was extremely responsive and came out himself to give me an estimate of what the repairs/refinishing would cost. He prepared me for the worst, while understanding my unique situation and not trying to over-sell me on services. Knowing I was waiting for the floors to be refinished to move into the home, he moved quickly to get me onto their busy schedule. The team did an amazing job, came in under budget, and communicated effectively--you would never know those bad stains were there to begin with. They are true artists who do right by their customers; I would hire again without hesitation.

Everything was great. Staff were punctual and job was finished very quickly. Process presents very little dust and everythingnh was cleaned up very well. Most importantly, the floor looks wonderful!

They were responsive, easy to work with and the quality of the work was excellent. We had several service providers price the work. Olde Tyme seemed to have the most experience doing the type of work we needed and their quote was comparable to the others.

We used Olde Tyme Craftsmen recently to refinish three contiguous rooms of pine floors.    They did a marvelous job 10 years ago, but our big dogs had done some damage over the years requiring a refinishing.     I can happily give this company my highest recommendation.      From the estimate to the job, they were always on time and professional.    The team was courteous and competent.      We are extremely pleased with the results.   Moreover, other companies that we talked with wanted us to rent temporary storage PODS (and extra cost) so that all the furniture in our living room, dining room and family room could be removed from the house during the job (another extra cost).   They even suggested we move out for a couple days.   Olde Tyme Craftsmen, shifted the furniture in the house and did the job in sections.    They used no toxic materials and were minimally disruptive to our life style.    They did the job over some portion of four consecutive days (allowing drying time).    They are the best.

Ron (the owner) came and took measurements. He is a very down to earth, personable man who promptly gave us an estimate (the same day that he measured our space, which is about 300 sq ft), and was very knowledgeable. He gave us advice from the type of wood to get, to the care, and even who to buy the wood through. The longest wait was for the wood we ordered to come in to the supplier. Once our wood came in, Ron picked it up, and brought it to us. We waited about a week for it to acclimate, and Ron, Andy and Matt came in shortly after that to install it. All the employees were very caring and professional as well. They were able to do it in one day; everything from tearing out the old carpet and linoleum to the last bit of clean-up. The floors are absolutely stunning. The installation screamed quality when we finally saw the big reveal. We stared at some pretty rough floors for years, so to have Olde Tyme Craftsmen come in and install new floors was a huge deal. Our downstairs is unrecognizable in the very best way possible. I would highly recommend this company to anyone- the quality is incredible, and the pricing was very fair.
