Time Out Clock Repair and Restoration

This was the 3rd gradfather’s clock repaired in my family and we were all satisfied with the results!

I think he is retired and it is very difficult to find anybody to repair clocks in this area. I don't know it took me a very very long time before I found somebody. This guy was really good, but he told me that it was going to take him  a while and I probably would not have my clock until after Christmas. I did hear from him may be about a few weeks ago and he said that he had it taken apart it, he had cleaned it, he had done the repairs, he put it back together and he just wanted it to run for a while before he finally brought it back because he just want to make sure everything was okay. It was started in 2014 he is also in New Hampshire, it took him a long time to get a time when he was going to be down this way. He still has it I don't know what the final calculations for cost. What I liked about him is I have to say is that the clock we got in 1980 he said that the clock did not need a new mechanism. One of the people that I contacted with you said he just literally told me right out that need a new movement and that was going to be the answer and that was going to cost $4500 and I thought how can he even tell me that over the phone without even looking at the clock, so I didn't get back to him and I went with this provider and he told me when he took it apart to take it away to go on repair it, it did not need a new mechanism or new movement. He gave me a total explanation about what usually happens with this clock and I really like that. So far I would give him an excellent grading. I would use this provider in the future.

Russ was early (!), quickly figured out what needed to be done, had all the tools with him. Verified that pendulum setting was correct. Grandma's clock is chiming with the best of them.

The clocks were beautifully done at the price I was quoted at the time I brought the clocks in. Both clocks are running beautifully and keeping great time- I couldn't be happier. Russ provided an initial cost and completion estimate. After disassembly, he discovered a broken spring that couldn't be repaired. He called immediately and provided me an explanation of the new fix along with the additional time to complete.
