Sc Logging And Tree

Description of Work: Scott and Brian had agreed to to take our Pine and Hardwood down along our property and agreed to work for the wood. They did have insurance, of this we made sure of and verified it with their insurance provider. They made all sorts of claims and promises at the time. They stated they would have a skidder...........they didn't and instead showed up with a beautiful rented excavator.........they then proceeded to tear up our lawn with the tracks on this machine, smashed all of the windows on the machine through their ineptitude and sprinkled bits of glass all over our lawn (and we have small children that LOVE to play on the lawn)..........they also took down their favorite climbing tree which had been marked with ribbon so as to avoid being taken down........THEY 'the ones who suggested the ribbon and left it with us thought that the tree with the ribbon was supposed to be taken down. They had moved their chipper in and parked it..........leaking oil!!!!! So they worked for 3 days and created a H*** OF A MESS!! Then disappeared for weeks without returning phone calls or voicemails. We came out of our house one morning to find a strange pickup truck parked in our driveway. It was a very nice man who told he had been hired by Scott and Brian and was told to meet them at our house for resumption of the tree removal debacle. He waited til noon, having been their for 5 hours with no contact from these clowns; before driving off very frustrated. We had spoken with him about our requests from SC Logging and he stated he had only been employed for a week with them and did not have anything good to say. He stated he was not happy with their operation.........to quote "unsafe, unreliable, and unprofessioanl!!" Our yard is a mess, trees down all over the place, large pools of oil from their chipper and equipment which hopefully will not saturate down to contanimate our well!!!!! AVOID THEM, AVOID THEM, AVOID THEM!!!!!
