The bathroom project: The finished product is fantastic. It took quite a long time to get done due to all sorts of things going wrong with sub-contractors. The T-N people working on the project were great. They were friendly and professional and always cleaned up after themselves each day they were there. The lead person on the project was attentive and fair. When things went wrong he did his best to rectify the situation.
The structural exterior work went well. One of the same guys worked on this project and it was good to have someone who knew us and we knew was responsible and friendly. They actually found a bunch of other things that were wrong with the house as they proceeded and fixed those as well.
All in all we will have T-N bid on our kitchen project coming up. Even though there were blips here and there we found T-N to be honorable and thorough.

I think they are best contractor in upper valley. They do really big jobs as well as home building. They build top of the line homes and they don't build smaller homes. They do really an outstanding job. They do a lot of work for local business and stores. They have been known to be excellent. By cost wise they are high end. I got what I paid for with them. The quality is really good.

Trumbull-Nelson completed my three jobs (porch, driveway and roof) on time and budget. There was no hanging loose ends. They were neat and the person who deals with T-N small projects comes and inspects making sure the job is done correctly and as the client wishes. My three projects have been done over a series of years: (porch about 2002, driveway: 2009 and roof: 2010). When my homeproject funds allow, I'll probably have them gut and re-do my kitchen.

The actual work was great, it took two days and they cleaned up scrupulously at the end of both days. Everything was done perfectly, and the inspection went smoothly. Scheduling was a headache though, they didn't seem to want to do small jobs. They came out quickly and did the estimate quickly and professionally, but then when I asked to schedule they kept saying "not this week but probably by the end of next week" for about six months. I initially contacted them in the fall and it was spring before the work was done. So if you have a small job, be prepared to wait until they have nothing else to do.
