Terry was absolutely perfect for the job. He was very thorough and explained everything to us in layman's terms. He was able to give us plenty of information about things to look for in old homes and had us follow him around during the inspection to point things out to us. By the time he left, we had all of the information we needed. Less than 48 hours later, we had a comprehensive inspection report sitting in our inbox. I would recommend him to anybody who is looking to know all there is to know about a house.

Terry arrived earlier than he stated and had most of the outside inspected when we arrived. He was very through, answered all our questions and provided a very detailed report. This report will not only help us in negotiations with the seller but as a reference for items we need to keep an eye on in the future. He also went above and beyond explaining how things worked and if we should DYI or hire pros. I highly recommend his services. One pitfall though, I now want a thermal imagery unit of my own!!

Wow...what a professional. My spouse and I searched many reviews before hiring a Home Inspector. I am very pleased that we did not just use one that was recommended by our Realtor.....I am just never sure we are getting the whole picture instead of just enough to be sure the deal goes through! Hiring Terry independently was a great move. Our property was  quite a distance from where Terry is based out of, but he came up to our area just the same. His evaluation was professional, though and complete. I am a Property Claims Adjuster myself and have written thousands of estimates of damaged property and I feel that Terry was outstanding and he managed to teach me a few things too.

Very nice to work with during the inspection, great tips, thorough. only thing that was not good, was the format of the inspection report delivered. it was very hard to follow/read, with a lot of redundant info, and odd organization to the items. the report was very frustrating to read and try to inventory and categorize lists of issues to bring to buyer as part of the related negotiation.

He was excellent. He even helped me measure floors for my flooring project!

Terry was great! He was early (huge plus for me). The home was new so we were not expecting any major problems but we wanted to be sure anyways. He went over a lot of things to consider in the next few years as the house settles and starts to age. He was very thorough and answered the many questions we had. Even with the few minor things we found it was worth the $ to have the those things fixed before we moved in.
The report was also great and will be a good reference when we forget all the things he told us!

this is the second home inspection we had terry perform in less than 4 weeks, his inspection provided us the info we needed to make an informed decision on a home that we were about to purchase, which would have been a big mistake. he is excellent, through, informative, educational. cannot say enough about his professional approach.
