 + -1 moreSpoke with Brett about the job and he seemed more concerned how I got his name than in the job itself. After describing what was needed and sending him a set of plans to quote from, I never heard from him again. Brett seems to be very selective about the jobs he wants and where he wants to do them. If the job is to big or to far just be up front and we can both move on. This is a true report and the experience I had with the company. I have copies of the e-mails sent to the company.
Description of Work: Major remodeling adding a full second floor and family room.

 + -1 moreJob 1: Polite, courteous, punctual, honest. These were quite possibly the nicest and most professional contractors I have ever dealt with. They were always on time, very clean, and very honest. Their quality of work is amazing! They treated my home as if it were their own. I think the fact that they are family owned and operated (the owners actually do the work themselves) made all the difference in the world. THEY CARE! I would hire them again in a second. THANKS GUYS! Job 2: A++++ work, superior quality and very pleasant people to work with. I would have them back again if I needed more work done. A++++++ Job 3: Overall, I have to say that Ma & Pa Plastering is a really great company. The quality of their work is amazing. The price is more than fair. I feel that I got much more than I paid for! I would have them back to do more work. I'd even have them back for dinner!
Description of Work: Job 1: Hung and Plastered 68 sheets of 4x8 blueboard. Did various patch work around the house (water damage and rehabilitation.)($2200) Job 2: We had Ma and Pa Plastering back for a second time to do some more small patches. The work is beautiful and very consistent! Very pleasant to work with. ($500) Job 3: I had my entire bathroom re-hung and plastered. They used blue board and plaster. They also used a pre-scratch coat on the seams to make sure I had no cracking. ($850)

 + -1 moreI can wholeheartedly recommend Ma and Pa Plastering. They did an extremely good job in a timely and professional manner. Very skilled with excellent attention to detail. Extremely good communication. The finished job exceeded expectations.
Description of Work: Job was to hang and plaster 22 sheets of 1/2'' blueboard for major kitchen remodel. There were three large curved archways, an enclosed soffit, and several challenging areas that involved much cutting and fitting of blueboard material and careful plastering.
