I had been looking for an HVAC company to service my AC unit of almost 12 months..  lots or promises of call back...will stop by's, etc;   Even got a quote that turned into a no-show.  Tim got back to me within 24 hrs, understand what I wanted to do, stopped by the next day and gave me a reasonable quote.   I needed to re-level the concrete pad underneath the condensor and Tim was fine with splitting his work over a couple of days to give me time to do the job.    would highly recommend.

We use him all the time. He is always the one we call, he does an outstanding job.

Our furnace died on a cold Saturday night in February. First we noticed an acrid smoke smell. The pilot was out, and when we re-lit it, the furnace ran continuously regardless of the thermostat setting (even if the thermostat was entirely off). We had used Tom as a plumber with good results, so we called him on Sunday morning - he came out the same morning. He determined that there was a large crack in the heat exchanger which was causing a backdraft on one of the jets, which had eventually melted wires together. He jerry-rigged something so we could get through the next day, since he couldn't get a new furnace until Monday. He worked with us to determine what model we wanted, responding to our many questions about energy efficient models and differences between brands and showing patience and good humor with our indecision. We did have to push him several times to get a load assessment of our unit - he was inclined to use a similar size to the existing one (which was slightly larger than the other two units in our building because we're on the top floor with an uninsulated roof). The load assessment showed our old furnace was bigger than needed (which causes extra cycling on/off, etc), so he installed a smaller one. He re-arranged his schedule to install the furnace, and did an excellent job with the installation, sealing the ducts, etc. He also added in an in-line humidifier and HEPA filter (due to bad dust allergies) at our request. He cleaned up after himself thoroughly. His bill was exactly as quoted. We noticed the faintest of gas smells in the basement a few days later, and he came out at our request. He detected and repaired a tiny gas leak at no additional charge.
