BUNKER ELECTRIC LLC

I had gotten 3 quotes for generator install and some other electrical work.  Bunker Electric was the middle of the road quote.  I chose them because they were local and the price seemed reasonable.
I didn't get scheduled until 3 or 4 days before installation.  That meant I had to scramble to get a propane person to install and connect the generator.  This time of year (November) is prime time for Propane installers as they're usually working on heating calls.  I had thought a certified Generac installer would have relationships with various propane installers and be able to get one out to connect up the generator on their schedule.  I thought wrong.  Bunker Electric told me they deal with so many....translation, we don't want to get involved.
Once the work started, Bunker Electric did a good job.  The work completed a few days later than expected, however.
Communication with Bunker Electric could have been better.  The good part is that they do use email; the bad part is that things always seemed last minute.  I found myself having to be flexible with them more than I should have as the customer.  Further, from a personal perspective, I never got the feeling that I was appreciated as a customer even though I went out of my way to accommodate; offering juices, coffee or water when they showed up, etc....I felt like I was just another "job".  Every time I met with the owner, he acted like I had dragged him out of bed at 3am instead of showing up on the schedule he actually made.
I would use Bunker Electric again only if I can't find someone else who appreciates my business.  Again, they did good work, but there's something to be said for a little gratitude.  I am, after all, the customer.

Mike does great work, is realistic and is priced fair.
