Steve Sarette & Son Excavation

We are very pleased with Steve's work, which expanded our backyard through excavating a small hill, re-grading, and putting down loam. We now have a level backyard and the rain water flows around our house instead of into our house. Steve and his team are professional and hard working. They showed up on time and worked until the sun set. It was a pleasure to work with Steve. He is flexible, experienced, and highly skilled. I will definitely use him again.

We bought this house last fall and after digging footings for a new porch, excavating for a 500 gallon propane tank and excavating for a brick walkway we had pretty much made a mess out of the site.  Steve came out right away and gave me a quote on the spot, demonstrating his years of experience and he was right on the money with competitive quotes.  He and his crew arrived on the day scheduled (at 7:00 a.m.) and never stopped working until the site was completely transformed into a perfectly graded and loamed site ready for hydro-seeding.  He also prepped an area for a patio off the new porch so that's ready for the hardscape to go in.  Grading a damaged site like this is an art form with science (transits) as well, making sure the elevations are right and slope just the right way.  Can't say enough good things about Steve and his son and his entire crew, very hard working and knowledgeable and got what was for me a big job done in one very full day.  I would recommend Steve to anyone who needed this type of work done and I will certainly use him again when I need excavating.
