Plumbers were polite and personable, and answered questions. Quality of work was good. Sent two people for a one person job. I had to pay for both. The owner was supposed to contact me about an estimate for a future job. No response.

Genesis arrived on time, completed on time. The workmanship is excellent, they cleaned up afterwards and walked us through the operation of the new equipment. Very happy with the whole proccess!

I had a leak in the pipes and water was running down to the basement. I made an emergency call to Genesis plumbing and they were very responsive and returned my call right away. They arrived on time and did the work as requested. Everything is working great and they did a great job overall.

Based on this experience, I have no hesitation recommending Genesis. This was the first time I used Angie's List as well. All I can say is wow! It's now my #1 go-to place for referrals.

Contacted several plumbers for new boiler install. Dennis was extremely honest and fair priced. We installed a new pennsoti boiler and added heated to our finished basement. It was a two day undertaking with two men. They were nothing but polite and professional. I feel like it was well worth the money and it looks great as well as heats beautifully. I will use these guys for any plumbing issues I have. I couldn't. Be happier with them.-justin

After having multiple quotes from different companies it was nice to have a non-sales guy come and really explain everything.  Out of 3 other companies Dennis was the only one that gave me a quote with a break down of each item so I knew exactly what each item cost.  I like doing my own research on anything that goes into my house and picked out the exact models that I wanted for the furnace and heat pump, Dennis was able to get both of these for me.  The install took a couple of weeks to complete, Dennis kept me informed of their progress throughout the project.  They left my basement cleaner than it was before they came and everything looks and works great.
We were lucky to qualify for some rebates, Dennis filled out and gave me all the necessary paperwork to send in.  No attempts were made to sell me an unnecessary maintenance plan, I felt like Dennis was honest from start to finish and I could trust his recommendations - something that is very hard to do these days where sales seems to come before customer service.
American Heat & Hot Water was the last company I got a quote from and I'm very happy I decided to wait and get that quote.  It came in roughly the same as the other companies I got a quote from.  It was nice having the guy that was going to do the actual install be the one that comes out to measure, quote, and answer questions instead of a sales guy that you never talk to again.
Both Dennis and his co-worker were professional and courteous while in my home and I would have no problem using them again for any additional work I need done.

Dennis provided everything needed for the project and completed it within the timeframe estimated. He maintains a very neat and clean worksite minimizing dust and mess. All of the new vents and shafts were strategically located, framed, wall boarded and primed leaving only finish painting left for me to do. The new water heater is a Marathon and is very efficient in supplying us with more hot water than we need. The heat and air conditioning is very even throughout the house and the heat pump has substantially cut my heating and air conditioning costs. If you were to walk into my house today, you would not notice the venting or shafts and it would appear that the system was in place when the house was originally built. The new furnace, air conditioning unit, heat pump and hot water heater are all efficient, economical and running perfectly. I could not be more pleased with the end results.

This company was very responsive, Dennis is a professional, knows his trade and had great advice. He inspected the unit, resolved the issue and wrote up several issues with the initial installation of the burner performed by another company that I need to follow up on. The boiler is working great!

American Heat and Hot Water performed all work exactly as listed in their quote in a timely manner. In addition the work was of a superior quality. Dennis was also very helpful in providing/completing necessary forms for us to be able to file for rebates on both the Hot Water System as well as on the Boiler. We were replacing/converting our old, failing oil boiler to a propane boiler with a very high efficiency rating. In addition as we were removing our old oiler that provided hot water we had to find an alternative hot water supply. After investigating the various forms of hot water tanks we settled on the AO Smith 60 Gallon Heat Pump System. I would definitely recommend American Heat and Hot Water.

I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism, willingness to discuss details on every aspect of the proposed purchase, responsiveness and high quality work performed and product supplied by Dennis Chase and the American Heat and Hot Water group. Not only were they the most reasonable out of 4 quotes obtained for my new oil boiler and hot water heater, but they were the highest quality product for the price. I ended up in an emergency situation (boiler failed completely prior to the planned replacement date) and Dennis literally pulled all required product together in less than 3 days. I would not hesitate to use them again for any reason and I wholeheartedly endorse their product and personnel for home heating installation needs!!!
