From the initial on-site evaluation and price quote, to the delivery of the unit, to the install of the transfer case and all related electrical wiring, to the final inspection by the town electrical inspector, Steve took care of everything. He was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up before he left. He is a MASTER ELECTRICIAN, and he really know his stuff. He works with a plumber, to make for seamless integration of natural gas and electrical hookup. Steve is also the regional Service Technician for Generac Generators, so I never have to worry about warranty issues and maintenence. I HIGHLY recommend Steve Lamirande Electric for ANY electrical jobs, no matter how big or complex. Hard to believe he was the lowest price around, but that is a fact.
Description of Work: After last winter's 4 day power outage, I vowed to never be left in the dark and cold again. Steve Lamirande had the best price quote on a Siemens (Generac) whole house generator out of the 4 quotes we got from other similar installations. I had a great experience with Lamirande Electric back in 1998 when he ran wires, phone lines, cable jacks, alarm system and recessed lighting throughout our new house. His work was efficient, professional and priced right. This past week, he installed a 14kw Siemens natural gas fueled automatic whole house generator (Generac motor) with a 16 circuit transfer switch which will keep the heat, lights, refrigerators, computers, plasma tv's, hot water, and alarm system powered up when the rest of the world is plunged into darkness. This system is fully automated, I don't ever have to do a thing. Yeah, I'm pretty psyched.
