Ideal Temp HVAC

Paul did an outstanding job. We had a couple of snags, but Paul worked through it and was very responsive. Ideal Temp is our HVAC company from now on.

Great company to do business with. Paul returned my initial call right away and accommodated my archaic work schedule to come by and look at my malfunctioning furnace quickly. Diagnosed, ordered parts, followed up with me via phone, scheduled the return visit. Minimum effort on my part, excellent communication on Paul's. Fair price and great service, successful fix. HIGHLY recommend. Excellent customer service.

We answered an ad on radio for central AC form a large company. The salesman came over and it was apparent he wanted a decision that day to get discounts and 0% financing. I went to Angie's List and found Ideal Temp. I called Paul and made an apt to discuss job. Paul was prompt and well informed and didn't try to oversell the job. His quote was so reasonable and we felt comfortable with him and his electrician we committed to the job that day. The whole experience has been professional and the job was very neatly done and completed in one day. We couldn't be happier. We would certainly use his services again. I called several A/C companies DESPERATE for repair of old 25 yr system and one company came out and basically blew the old system -- needed replaced anyway -- but that invalided the home warranty. Then they told me it would be $6K to replace it. I called other places -- no estimate for weeks not to mention service or install. I called Ideal Temp last Friday evening -- he was here first thing Monday morning and by NOON the same day -- I have a new York A/C system, new lines and all old equipment removed for $2,700! The a/c is blowing cool air (FINALLY) as we speak! I could NOT be more HAPPY with IDEAL TEMP, Paul, and John for the service, professionalism, expertise, timeliness and all in all EXCELLENT SERVICE and EXPERIENCE.

Paul came and evaluated the problem and suggested replacing the old system with a new one. He e-mailed us a price . The price was reasonable . From past experience with Paul , I knew he was the one we would buy from. He came in did his job , kept the place clean. Everything works great.

When my hot water heater died I called Ideal Temp and spoke to Paul about my situation. He came out, took a look at the problem and gave me a quote for replacing and installing the water heater. He explained the different options involved, what to expect and approximately how long it would take. He came first thing in the morning the following day and promptly installed the new unit. Couldn't be more pleased with his service and would happily recommend him to others.

Paul was very easy and helpful to work with- overall a great experience. Our house was a foreclosure with destroyed baseboard heating and a ruined furnace. It was a large job with many options, and Paul worked with me to figure out the best options to meet our goals of the rehab- I was a little overwhelmed by the choices and he provided very solid advice. He returned my initial call quickly and came out on my schedule to take a look at the job. He provided an initial quote after spending about 20 minutes, and later when we decided to move forward he came out and performed measurements to provide a final quote (this practice was different than some others- one outfit spent over two hours during an inital visit, then another hour at a later date, and after all that I did not receive a formal quote). He worked within my schedule, as we had other contractors lined up. The quality of the work was excellent, and everything was done properly (permit, etc.). They had to work with some areas that would be undergoing further renovation and were very good about getting things to the proper point to allow for the further changes. The system is working great and we are very happy with that job that Paul and his team did.

Overall the experience went very well. PJ with Ideal Temp was very responsive and came to our home and installed the new parts as soon as they were available from the supplier. He was very upfront with pricing and there were no surprises.
I have no reservation in recommending Ideal Temp to anyone that needs help with their Heating and AC needs.

I called on Thursday and they showed up at 7:30 am the next day. They completed the repair in a little over half an hour. I really appreciated them showing upthe next day and so early . They accomidated my schedual. I'd definently call them again.

Paul came and submitted an estimate that was thousands less than previous estimates. He talked about his experience with the product we were interested in and did measurements. He also let us know his upcoming schedule. He and the men he worked with arrived promptly, sometimes early, and completed the work in a few days, even sooner than expected. They were friendly and professional. Paul was always available by phone if we had questions (e.g., how to turn the boiler on, change the water temp, etc.). The only problem we had was getting a receipt from Ideal Temp after the installation. We eventually got it but the delay (a few weeks) was a little stressful/frustrating. Months later, we have had no problems with the boiler or pipes that Ideal Temp installed and hooked up for us. We would definitely recommend them to anyone installing a boiler or water heater and will probably get back in touch for future plumbing work.
