We tried a couple of other landscape companies this year but were not at all happy with their service. We decided to give Family Lawn Care Service a try. They've been doing our mowing, and have taken care of a couple of sizable landscape projects, and we couldn't be more pleased with them. They do EXCELLENT work at VERY reasonable prices. They show up when they're supposed to, and they quickly call back if I need to talk with them. They've quickly earned my faith and trust, and that's really important to me.

We've been very happy with him. His prices are very reasonable, and I have him doing several projects for us. He's busy for a reason, due to his quality of workmanship.

I've used the service once before finding Don Bailey the owner affable and cooperative. We took several estimates and favored Don because his plan for fixing our lawn aligned with what we wanted. Hardscaping work wrecked the lawn directly in front of the house with tire tracks, torn up lawn and the grade was wrong now where the hardscaping left off and the lawn began. One other issue on the front lawn was a depression we wanted corrected too that developed over the years. The lawn on the other side of our driveway needed some attention since weeds had taken over a section and we wanted his help fixing it. He thought putting down some fresh loam and seeding would work. Given the time of the year, we asked about his guarantee on seeding and he said if there are any bald spots he'd come back and reseed at his expense. Over two days he and a mate came, brought in loam, graded it and seeded as agreed. In two weeks of watering most of the grass came in as expected. There were some bald spots, he came and reseeded as promised with just a phone call. The grade overall looks just like we wanted - the hardscaping moves cleanly to the lawn and the lawn grades gently.

I asked them to clean out my "meditation circle" of last year's leaves, it's a 40 ft diameter ring of trees with shrubs. The trees are all Maples which deliver a hefty matting of leaves. I didn't want to do it myself this year so I asked Don from the service to do it. He quoted me $225, came with a helper and in three hours they cleaned out the circle perfectly.
The only hiccup was where to dump the leaves, my instructions were over my rear fence (which is a wooded area) and they dumped them in front making new work for me. However, it's all in the instructions and ensuring that you've conveyed them properly. I take part responsibility for this aspect of the job not coming out the way I wanted it. But, the circle was completely cleaned out just as I asked.
I've used his service a couple of times and should I need the same or similar yard work I won't hesitate to call him.
