I have known him for years and years. He is great. His name is Jim Knight. He is absolutely terrific. I didn't know how to shut the water off. He told me what to do. He came over at 8:30 at night. He fixed it enough to come back the next day with the part. He came back the next day with more parts to fix the issue permanently. He did get me through the night temporarily. He has bailed me out of a few small catastrophes. He installed the part and was done within 40 minutes. He doesn't make you wait 2-3 days to show up again. 

I have known him for 20 years. The service is excellent. If for some reason he fixes something and it ends up not being fixed within a week, he will come back as soon as he can get there. He carries a small amount of equipment in his truck, but sometimes he has to go to the plumbing store to get the right parts. He gives the home owner the choice to put something off if you don't have the finances.

I have been using him for at least 15 years.   Of everything he has done in this house, nothing has gone wrong.  He has come to my rescue a couple of times, like when I had a flooded basement and a couple of other things.  He puts things in right, he puts them in once, and that's the way it's done.  His prices are very, very reasonable.  If I call him up for a leak, for instance, he will show up within about an hour and a half.  If you have an 8:00 appointment, he will be there at 8:00 and if he's not, he will call and let you know or reschedule if necessary.  He is very professional.  He stays on the job until he finishes the job.  He's just a good guy. 

Great job!  He came out to look at it on Friday (same day we called), and said he could come back Saturday to repair the leak.  He showed up when he promised, and finished the job in ~ 20 minutes.
It's always hard to get someone out for a small project, and we really appreciate Armor's professionalism and customer service.  We will definitely use them again!

He came and  got it working. It went out the next day and he came right back. Discovered he needed to replace a switch. My furnace is 35 years old and the company is long out of business. He was able to save me from buying a new furnace by cobbling together a switch from another furnace.

Great he came and shut off the pipes to stop the leaking and then came back within the hour to install a new hot water heater.

Debated writing the review because Jim is a very nice guy. While de-winterizing house, the supply valve to washer/dryer connections was left open causing a minor flood in the bathroom. Accidents happen, but Jim immediately blamed me for leaving the valve open. It was a very transparent attempt to escape culpability. The water from the mishap leaked through the floor into the basement which he assumed was a leaking pipe. He was ready to cut a hole in the wall in search of the leak, when I suggested turning the well pump back on to double check. No leak.

Very professional and very knowledgeable. Fixed multiple leaking faucets and found the reason we had the problem in the first place. Jim was reliable and above all a super nice guy. I would call him again and recommend him without hesitation.

I was very pleased and will definitely use this service in the future for my residence and my rental property.

No water was coming from the cold side of the washing machine valve. He brought a new valve but quickly realized that there was nothing wrong with the old one. It turned out to be an unusual case of early winter freeze up. He came up with a plan to thaw the pipe without spending a lot of time and it worked! Total bill was $75, he arrived within 2 hours of my call, and was completely professional. He also came up with a relatively inexpensive long-term solution as well. Great service!!

Saturday night, we noticed a water
mark on the bottom section of our kitchen cabinet. We suspected a water leak somewhere around our dishwasher. We shut off the water supply to the dishwasher. The next morning Sunday, we left a voice-mail for Armor
Plumbing. After a few minutes, Jim called us back. He said, " No
Problem, I'll be there in about an hour". Jim showed up, checked out the
dishwasher, and pin pointed the source of the water leak. Jim had to go out to get the required part for the repair.
After a short while, Jim returned and repaired the dishwasher in about 30 minutes.
All this on a Sunday morning!
Jim wished us a Merry Christmas and was on his way.
The invoice came to a very
reasonable cost of $94.00.
We feel fortunate to have such a reliable plumber.

Great... he came and cleaned the furnace, explained the results of his tests and gave advice on further maintenance service.

Everything went very well. He made an appointment with us for New Years day and was punctual and extremely professional. Work was need on the furnace and he took care of it without incident in a timely manner. He has always been extremely responsive and accommodating.
