It went very badly. We had to fight every step of the way because he did not have any cash flow so we had to put up front money which we never got paid back. In a storm they lost the whole second floor so they had to start over. The walls are not straight nor square. We have broken windows that they have not been replaced. We had to hire someone else to redo the stairway to the upstairs. We and the family members ended up doing all the tile work and flooring because he wanted to charge us another $18,000.00 for labor. They left in February and have not come back to finish the door and window framing. We have no deck has specified in the contract neither for the front entrance and back door. No railing in the basement stairway. The three French doors are not installed correctly so we can close them properly. One of the door we have to keep locked otherwise it opens by itself. Shingles on the roof are flowing in the breeze because they were not properly installed.
The problems go on and on.
