Shawn was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had called Shawn after being left "high and dry" by another tree service. We had a large amount of dead ash that had been cut down, with a few trees left remaining, and 15+ stumps all in our front yard. Shawn returned my phone call the same day (on a Sunday), and came out that afternoon to give us a quote. What I appreciated most was that he quoted us job by job - NOT an hourly rate. This really helped us in determining what we could spend for our budget. He was willing to spread out the work to make it more affordable for us. His quotes were the lowest (I interviewed 6 companies).

As we did not have a strict timeline of when we needed the work completed, Shawn came back a few times to complete the jobs over the course of three weeks. During each time he and his team were here, they were friendly, professional, and quick to get the work completed. He answered all of my questions, and took the time to talk with me about some other landscaping decisions for our yard. Many of the stumps were up against our old stone walls, and he took extra care in ensuring that no damage was made to the integrity of the walls. We plan to use him in the future for all of our tree-related needs and have already recommended him to some of our friends.

Shawn was very professional and showed up when he said he would. He removed 8 trees and did a great job with the clean up. He completed the work within a few days. I had several estimates and he came in with the best price well below all the others.

Shawn and his crew did a great job cutting the trees, chipping the brush and hauling the trees away. You could tell by the way they worked that they did this work often, and are very good at what they do. The first day was the trees getting cut and brush chipped. The next day Shawn came and got the wood and hauled it away by himself. We couldn't believe all this was done in 2 DAYS. The price was better than the other 2 quotes by hundreds and the other quote by a couple of thousand dollars. We definitely recommend Trees Are Us. Thanks Shawn & Crew!!

We had a tree removed that was extremely close to our home, as it stood about 2 and a half times higher than our house, it was a danger.

The estimate we got from Shawn at Trees Are Us was about 1/3 lower than any other estimates we got from other contractors.  We verified that the business was insured, since they would be working so close to our home, and agreed to have Trees Are Us remove the tree.

Shawn and his crew were very thorough, they completely removed the tree, hauled away the debris, and cleaned up the work site, all for much less than any of the other contractors who had given us an estimate.  We would use them again.

Great guy to work with! He called the night before a week ahead of schedule and said he could come out next day to get it done! Extremely pleasant to deal with, ended up being far more work than we had anticipated, tried giving him some extra money and he refused stating he stands by his quotes! Who does that anymore!? Will be hiring him again for sure!

Shawn Pelletier is a one man show. I hired him to remove three 75 ft. oak trees and two smaller maple trees. The limbs of one of the oak trees overhung my home, and he took that tree down with no problem. Shawn did a wonderful job and his price was by far the best that I was quoted. He also did some additional trim work at no additional charge. I would highly recommend Trees are Us. I encourage anyone who has a few trees to cut down and is located in southern NH to give him a call. Shawn is one of the hardest workers that I have ever met and it is amazing what he does by himself.

He and his assistant made very short work of this project on a very hot and humid day. Total time of job was about 4 hours (from arrival to final cleanup). He was very professional and courteous. We plan to continue working with him for other tree-related projects around our new home this and next year.

in the pouring rain.   On the day of the service he arrived on time and did not leave until everything was picked up and

Trees Are Us seems to be essentially a one-man company, owner Shawn Pelletier, with younger assistants on jobs.  We liked that.   Others who bid higher had salesmen, etc., and you didn't know who you would get.   Trees are Us was recommended by a friend and we couldn't be more satisfied.  Shawn and one assistant worked incredibly hard all day doing exactly what he said they would do and cleaned up immaculately.  They even volunteered to help us with a little moving task unrelated to the job and at no charge!!  
    Two other bids we had were significantly higher and wanted half payment up-front; one wanted a cashier's check.  That didn't make any difference to us per se, but indicated how sure Shawn was we would be happy with his work.  We were. Though a smaller company than another option, Shawn had a higher bucket truck, reducing the cost to do our large tree in a cramped space. It also kept our septic field safe whereas a much heavier crane, proposed by another option, was a risk.  One other bidder recommended taking down more trees than Shawn thought necessary, but another agreed with Shawn on this point.
    If you need tree work in southern New Hampshire, we highly recommend Trees Are Us out of Epsom.

One of our neighbors used Trees Are Us to remove trees from their property and was satisfied with their service. We called them for an estimate which they promptly provided us after personally inspecting our property.  We found Shawn to be very knowledgable and found their estimate to be reasonable. Our estimate included downing multiple trees, tree removal and stump grinding. All work was performed as per our written agreement. We requested a certificate of insurance which was professionally provided. Because we wanted to get the job done before winter, we did receive some lawn damage due to the heavy rain & snow we had earlier in the fall. All work was done professionally and within our property line. I rated punctuality a B only because their business was located some distance from us and that they may have had some other work to perform on the way to and from our home. We never had to call them and ask them to come finish the job. We do recommend them and would use their services again without hesitation.
