Lew was amazing. He was very friendly and explained everything he was doing. He checked our compressor, our air flow and our fan on our refrigerator. Lew took the time to explain the problem, which was a tiny hole in the tank that contains the Freon. He was friendly and professional. Added more Freon gas and our freezer is good as new! We may need more Freon added down the road but much better than buying a new fridge!

Great, Lew quickly diagnosed the issue, discussed the solution with me and fixed the machine. This is the second time I have had Lew at the house and would recommend him to others. The machine filter was clogged and caused the machines computer to shut down. Lew had all the necessary equipment to fix the issue, clean and service the machine.

Lewis was excellent: great response time, got me right into his schedule, called when he said he would, arrived promptly, and spent more time than he needed to explaining everything relevant to my broken appliance. He answered questions that were only tangentially related, and even offered general advice for appliance maintenance after I told him I was a new homeowner. Instead of trying to sell me expensive repair services, he told me it would be more cost effective to just replace my appliance, which I appreciated. He went above and beyond in every way, and I will definitely be calling him in the future.

Lewis fit us into his schedule within a couple of days, promptly diagnosed the issue and recharged our 17-year-old Sub Zero refrigerator on the spot. Working like new again! Lew is now our "go to" appliance guy. Highly recommended!

It turned out that the internal duct had never been taped where it connects to the blower housing. The dryer cabinet was heavily coated in lint. Since it is a stacked dryer, it was quite a process just to disassemble the dryer enough to get to the internal duct. In all, it took about 2.5 hours. The cost was $290. I have no idea if that is a reasonable price, but otherwise I'm completely satisfied.

My husband and I noticed a strange smell emanating from dishwasher periodically when it was running. About 1 1/2 months ago it would not power up/ nor any of the lights on control panel work. My husband decided since we've already had it serviced twice, that it is time to buy a new one. When our installer (who for the record is not in any way competition for service, only installs) opened up the front panel to begin to un-install, he immediately noticed and pointed out that it was obviously wired to arc.. so grateful we did not end up with a full house fire. Our installer noted that work on it had been done. Then informed us that the last person who serviced it is completely inept or sabotage was involved. There was NO possible way that any competent appliance repair person could have missed that, seeing how said wires are located right up front. Either he did this on purpose or was grossly negligent. Everything on the inside melted and no way to repair. The attached photo is of the burnt, melted cap I've kept to remind myself to re-review Lewis' handiwork.

"Sabotage is my favorite Beastie Boys song! **********OVER TWO YEARS AGO********** you had a piece of glass stuck on the INSIDE of your tub...(There are no wire nuts located inside the tub) This is your initial review.... 03/11/2015 _ Customer Description of work: Dishwasher ejector pump was not working. Lewis did not dawdle, but worked diligently and found the problem. There was a piece of glass down IN the pump mechanism that was stopping the whole works. Lew got it, discovered that the glass had (surprisingly) caused no permanent damage to the unit. He then did a very thorough job of making sure there was no more glass hiding and making sure all other parts were in proper working order. He seemed very knowledgable and explained a lot to me while he was working. Exceedingly neat and professional. I will definitely call Lew's again. Lew checked it and found that it was simply a dirty heating coil. He suggested tips on keeping the base of the dishwasher interior cleaner, offered to honor a coupon even though it was for repairs that he didn't have to perform. I was happy to pay for his time, and should the washer ACTUALLY need repairs in the future, will call him again.

Trouble shooting went well as did ordering the replacement. Installation was rescheduled / postponed 3 days because the technician had injured himself snow-boarding. Installation was successful. Received the Angie's List discount.

Was "running late" for the appointment time but he did call. He quickly determined it was the main control unit. Made some calls and gave us some bad news. Said the part was not in stock with his contacts. But he could make some calls and get back to us in a few days regardless of what he turns up. Never called back. Ended up removing the control unit myself and debugging the unit myself. Lew pointed me in the direction and I fixed it.......

Lew could not have been a nicer person. He communicated well, we arranged the appointment and he arrived on time. He was able to do the job efficiently and professionally. He installed the conversion kit for my new Samsung stove and then connected it in my kitchen. I will certainly use him again when the need arises. His fee was more than reasonable considering the amount of time he spent on my job.

I was worried that I would need a new refrigerator or a new compressor (which would be as expensive as a new refrigerator). Lew arrived the same day at the time he said he would. He let me know when he was leaving his previous call. I was pleased that he could make time for me the same day, since the refrigerator was no longer cooling. Lew crawled behind it, did a bunch of tests and announced that the compressor was fine. It only needed a new relay, which he had in his car. 15 minutes later the refrigerator was working again, pushed back in place and Lew was on his way to the next repair. I highly recommend him and won't hesitate to use him again for any large appliance repair.
