PETER POOLE PIANO SVC

Peter's previous appointment got canceled at the last minute and he called to see if he could come earlier for our scheduled appointment. That worked out perfectly. Peter was very professional and explained the work he provided so that even the least musically knowledgeable people could understand. We are so thankful for the job he did and look forward to him coming back next year to tune the piano again and to schedule a little extra work to continue to strive to get the piano back to the quality that it should be.

Tuned an old piano that hadn't been tuned in 15 yrs. It will need a follow up.

Mr. Poole arrived promptly at 11:45 AM today and left at 1:45 PM. He said after a brief inspection that the piano was in excellent condition and only slightly out-of-tune. He is a perfectionist and spent more than 1 1/2 hours tuning the piano to his exacting requirements. Mr. Poole is also an excellent pianist and played three pieces as a final test. (He didn't know that we were listening until we applauded after he finished the first piece.) We have scheduled Mr. Poole to return two years from today.

Peter is very professional ... the piano had not been tuned for two years .. he spent 2 hours tuning and making adjustments.. I thought his fee was more than fair.. he also is quite knowledgeable concerning selling , buying and moving pianos..

We decided to gowith Peter's recommendations for the process to restore our piano. As recommended, we will have more tuning done in January by Peter and look forward to having him continue torestore my piano.

Appointment went very well from start to finish. I was contacted within 24 hours to set up tuning appointment, and was scheduled within one week from initial contact. Peter was punctual, professional, and friendly. The appointment took approximately 2 hours, due to the fact that it had been a while since I'd had my piano tuned, and needed some minor repairs as well. The cost was what I expected - $170 for the 2 hour visit including tuning and minor repairs - and I will definitely use this service in the future.

Peter seems to do an adequate job of tuning and his prices are reasonable. He is also a good resources for local piano related information. Sometimes you have to track him down for follow up.
