About us

I have been on my own since 2001 but in the business for 23 years now and really enjoy working for myself. I work alone so I am able to control the quality of work I want provided to the customer. Billing procedures are very simple...material costs are due up front and labor when job is complete or otherwise discussed and agreed upon.

Services we offer

I really enjoy framing decks, garages, sheds etc. but remodeling and flooring have been most of what I have been involved in over the past couple of years. I like doing drywall but I only bring it to the prep stage for painters.

Joe is fantastic. He showed up on time every single day, was always great about communicating where the project was and what was happening. He was clear about money, how much it would cost and when payment was due. He was always willing to take suggestions or change the plans if necessary. His work was meticulous. 
Really a fantastic experience working with him and I plan to use him for projects big and small in the future. 
Highly recommended.

It went very well. The job was started on the agreed upon date which in my experience does not always happen. He was punctual and showed up when he said he would. He was very pleasant and checked with us frequently to see if we were pleased with his work and his progress. He always left things neat and left no debris for us to deal with. He used quality materials. I expect this porch to last a very long time. I would definitely use him again.

Joe was an exceptional find and we are thrilled with the work he did for us. The floors he installed are beautiful and were flawlessly installed. The built in bookcases and also exceptional and add a great deal to the room. His work is exceptional, he is prompt and very professional. Joe not only did an exceptional job but he finished sooner than he expected and under budget. Additionally, he was wonderful in accommodating our toddler and made time to do a few odd jobs for us as well. We cannot recommend JT Carpentry enough.

I have used Joe on an hourly basis rather than having him quote a job in advance.. He is an ecceptionally hard worker and I always feel that I am getting good value for the $. He is completely honest and fair with his hours and I recommend himwithout any reservations
