Hans Van Wallenburg Handyman Services

Working with Hans was a pleasure. He was quick to respond and give me an estimate. I gave me good advice and suggestions. I would recommend him and will use him again.

So we were replacing a damaged tread on our front porch steps and it turned out the whole stair case badly needed replacing. Winter was nearly here and we need this done in a hurry, we gave him a call and the new stairs were in place in a very short time. They came out beautiful. Great job and highly recommended.

He was the first handy man that would accept the job, even though he was booked out solid through October.  He arrived on time.  We had a bit of trouble getting the old one out because it was screwed in along the top, which we did not see or know.  But it finally came out.  He did not realize we wanted him to put in the new one and fix the walls as well, and needed to come back.  We were expecting rain, so he boarded up the outside and put tape across the top edge.
When he returned, he and my fiance heaved the new unit into the space, after Hans prepared the opening to the proper size.  He was thorough and did an excellent job.  I would highly recommend him and we have other projects we would love to hire him for, if he had the time.

I was very pleased with him and his work.  He was easy to communicate with, was available and always answered the phone when I called, and always arrived on time.  He was professional in his work and demeanor and was likeable and personable.  I plan on having him do more work for me in the future.

I was very pleased with Hans's work. I had tried calling many listed providers on Angie's List, and most did not even return my call. When I called Hans he took time to speak with me even though I had interrupted his night out. He was timely, fairly priced, and talented. Hans works for a builder and knows his field extremely well. He could explain what was happening and what the problems were He works quickly and cleans up after himself. Some of my projects were difficult; my condo does not have the best bones, but he was able to hang cabinets, heavy mirrors, towel bars and shelving easily. He had a good eye for making sure things were even and centered. Hans even came back to rework a mirror that just did not seem centered to me. In addition, he tiled my kitchen backsplash. It was a difficult project but it looks excellent. I have already talked to him about my ceiling problem, and he gave me excellent advice about how he could fix it without tearing it down.  I look forward to having him do it. I trust him.
