I called Comcast because I was unable to watch any streaming videos (despite the fact that I had done so for over two years). The representative was courteous and she reset my account. I tried again and it worked for about 10 minutes before failing with the same message. I asked for the definition of the message and nobody had a clue. I called back again and the rep confirmed my equipment was ok, but that I might need a reboot (I worked in tech support for five years and "reboot" = "get the customer off my back"). I told them it was 11:00 PM and I had no intention of crawling under a desk to reboot several pieces of hardware. I finally gave up and decided to try IE instead of Firefox (which had always worked before). In IE 10, I was able to see all of my programs. Nobody knows why, but it worked so I dropped the issue. I pay almost $200/mo for TV, phone and internet and would jump for joy if anyone knows another high-speed ISP in Londonderry, NH. Earthlink already confirmed they are NOT available here, so it looks like I'm stuck with Comcast for the near future. They also told me that if I wanted streaming videos, I had to buy regular TV as well. I'm looking into Hulu, Amazon Plus, Redbox and some others to see if I can keep internet but toss everything else (I'd use a cell phone for calling).

Moved to NH in July 2013. ordered Comcast Xfinity double play TV and Internet. Had daily internet service interuptions for internet service had 8 service calls in 6 months with no improvement. 8 new modem routers with no improvement. typical run around with customer service with no help and no resolution. Today they gave 3 bogus phone numbers to call for help which had been disconnected over a month ago. Worst company i have ever dealt with. Had Verizon FIOS TV and Internet in Massachusetts and had zero interuptions of service in 6 years. We would go back to Verizon FIOS if possible but they offer no service in New Hampshire due to deal with Fairpoint communications. Can anyone suggest a better company for internet service?

I don't like them.  They have too many channels like too many sports channels, but not enough channels where there is a variety.

They are very expensive, and I am considering changing them. They charge me for things I don’t use. I hope not to use this provider for the future.
