I love my car and it is a beast going through snow. The buying process was very easy and they did not pressure me in any way. They were very accommodating and professional. I would definitely buy from them again and I would highly recommend them.

Hello readers I spoke to Service Manager Ian Cavanaugh ([email protected]) after his service writer Justin scheduled me for a wiring harness warranty extension installation without Justin verifying that the part was actually in (it was backordered). So, I ended up taking a day off from work and bringing my car in for nothing. He should have called me to reschedule but he made a mistake. Ian compounded the mistake and offered either a free oil change or tire rotation to compensate for my loss of 8 hours of white collar work! I sought both, a small value compared to my time and the inconvenience his employee caused! An oil change is 15 minutes, a tire swap is 20 minutes…so my 8 hours of lost time isn’t worth 35 minutes to Dube. Ian just rewarded his employee for his incompetence and proved to the employee that the employee is more important than the client. I love my Prius and will consider a Prius plug-in but not from Dube. They are amateurs not worthy of displaying the Toyota brand...and I copied the General Sales Manager Ann Morin (amorin@bill dube.com) and the owner Debbie Reed ([email protected]) on my e-mails to Ian so they can’t claim ignorance. Shop around readers and don’t accept substandard customer service. Dealer days are numbered! Meanwhile I wait for Toyota's backordered parts!

I have been shopping for a car for about 2 months now. I
travel for a living, so on my off time in those city's I call and visit the
local dealerships. I have called about 20 dealerships and visited 8 in
person.
When I arrived at Bill Dube Toyota I was prepared to buy a
vehicle based upon an advertised price in the newspaper, and a phone
confirmation of their inventory.
After a very short test drive, the salesperson pulled the
typical and quot;Bait and Switchand quot; routine. and quot;The advertised cars were not available
more.and quot;, he said. The best price he could offer was $1000.00 more than the
advertised price.
I will not return to Bill Dube Toyota. I you wonder why car
salespeople have such a bad reputation?

I have a 2000 Corolla that I bought used a few years ago. It has about 85,000 miles on it. It's a reliable car, but I noticed that there seemed to be a rattling noise coming from the transmission, when I am idling or in reverse (I have a manual transmission). When I brought it to the Bill Dube Service Dept, I made an appt. for them to check out this noise plus do an inspection on other parts of the car as well (I am due to have a baby in a few months and wanted to make sure the car was in tip top shape before then.) They told me that the rattling was due to a ball bearing but didn't warrant the expense of taking out my transmission. They said I should bring it back in to be dealt with when the noise got unbearable, but that otherwise it wouldn't affect the cars performance. What they did tell me was that my front brakes needed to be replaced, which in the inspection they noticed that my left front brake was down to 1 mm. I was glad they had done this inspection and I am waiting for the rotors to come in so they can replace the brake pads and rotors for my front brakes. I have taken my two cars there (we also have a Yaris) and I never feel that they want to take me for a ride and pay for unwanted things. Another time I brought my Corolla there because of a noise and the tech said it was a piece of rock that was lodged, and it fell out that evening. Again, they could have told me that I needed to have it repaired, but they never even charged me for looking for the problem. They are honest people and I trust them. I rarely have felt this way about auto repair, especially at the dealership. I will not take my car anywhere else!

Passed inspection, and it didn't take long. I asked about a tire alignment and they did that, too on the same day. Since this was my last complimentary inspection at 25,000 miles, I asked about the cost of extending the complimentary service. The person to speak with was busy, and said they would call me, but never did.

I did most of the work via the Internet and went in only to finalize the deal.
They got us the car we wanted in the desired configuration.
