Richard did a great job explaining each facet of the inspection.He explained in a way that those of us who don't know several issues and terms of a house in layman's terms. My daughter,who was also at the inspection, was very impressed by the time he took to explain in detail all he was doing and what the outcomes indicated. Now, on to Office Manager,Melissa, she was so affable,kind, down to earth,yet client was aware that she was professional and knew her stuff.I was very surprised and elated to get report back so quickly,and that Melissa was on top of the water testing results. I would recommend L&M to anyone buying a home. Wonderful,competent,friendly experience!

His report was very detailed with many pictures and made it easy to point out major concerns to the seller. Rich's report could save you from making an expensive mistake. Definitely recommend.

Overall, I would use L&M again and/or recommend. L&M responded promptly and professionally to my request to expedite this home inspection. Time from request to report, <3 days (not incl water test). When Rich got to the home to place the radon canisters, he noticed a strong propane odor which he urged the real estate agent address immediately. And Melissa subsequently went above and beyond to investigate reason(s) for this gas leakage. Rich then focused closely on the furnace and took the time needed to photo document and identify other details of the home that should be addressed. Very accommodating, responsive and helpful. I would have provided 5stars, but feel that the final inspection report with numerous notes and pictorials could be a bit more organized—that said, the report served its purpose. Thanks to Rich & Melissa :)

A thoroughly honest company. The inspection is done as though the inspector himself is purchasing the house and he instantly instills confidence in you with your first conversation with him. Quality work for a reasonable price. If you are looking for a home inspector, stop searching and call L&M. You will not regret it.
